What "popular" singer says or bands you think are overrated or terrible

I'm an old millennial who in very few ways has the "get off my lawn" mentality, but when it comes to music, I hate almost all contemporary pop, rock, and country. Most of it is overrated.

I'm going to get crucified here, but Nirvana. And I loved Nevermibs.
Ditto on Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia line and all other bro country.
U2 after Rattle and Hum
The Who
Elton John
Ted Nugent
Katy Perry
Bieber of course
Pretty much any modern rapper
McLemore or however you spell his name
Jefferson Airplane
Ariana Gande
The Beetles
John Lennon
Paul McCartney

I always figured it's because they are like the boy band of classic rock. Everybody assumes he likes them and the radio station he listens to always plays them and he's had enough!

Also because they were synonomous with LA and Cali and i get the feeling The Dude has had enough of that association.

"bro country"
System of a Down (just Serj Tankian, the band is very talented)
Anything Chris Cornell has ever done
Nirvana

This isn't about who's actually overrated it's about who you prefer to listen to. I think Kanye is the black Trump but the guy can rap. Bieber is a spoiled brat but the kid can sing. Not a huge fan of Dylan but his music defined an entire generation, same goes for The Beatles.

Just because you don't like someone doesn't mean they're overrated. It just means you have a different taste in music. By the way, Taylor Swift writes slot of her own music (with help) the girl is annoying as $$$$ but she has musical talent.

Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Cole Swindell, Luke Bryan.

Pretty much this group and a few others ruined a great genre.

Lmao at anyone thinking the Beatles are overrated

They're just showing their ignorance. They were peerless in their time. They were winding it down 50 years ago... it's dated. It was experimental. What they did in the studio was ground breaking. Only fools would consider the Beatles to be overrated. I'd challenge them to post a list of who they consider to be underrated.

Dude, I am very scholarly trained in music, and I can't tell you how many times I've made myself sick defending Swift's musical integrity lol.

Almost all country coming out of Nashville in the past decade is complete trash. Bros, girls in the bed of a truck in a corn field, so drunk, etc. It's the same uninteresting tripe over and over. Anyone who's actually been on a farm knows if you drove into someone's corn field to party you'd get your ass kicked for running over all that corn.

I'll throw one out there. I've never understood the appeal of Bruce Springsteen. His singing is more of a growl, and most of his songs are a cure for insomnia.
