What should CPF do with Foster, Wardlow and Holbert?

What should be the punishment?

Yes, indeed by my logic that is correct. Oh, and yes, I do carry an M4 Carbine and make a lot of decisions in the service of my country. I defend individual freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution.

You are the reason in the animal kingdom some species eat their own.

Try not let your soldiers know you condone drinking and driving, in todays enviorment, deployments and rotations to Iraq, Afganistan, there's enough dangers facing our troops beside condoning drinking and driving.

Poor decisons like that will keep you from Field Grade..

I don't know if your kidding or not, but I couldn't let this pass.

I've had soldiers injured and killed, and it's not something to joke about, and make stupid statements.

Vol, don't let him get to you. He is probably a 13 year old fat boy that plays war games on his X-box. No member of the military, that fights to defend it's citizens, is this mentally challenged. He is trying to be funny and failing miserably.

Not like we are really going to miss Arian Foster that much anyway... we can put a blow up doll in there and have the same effect as our running game

I have absolutely no problems with people who drink and drive, until the point that they get in a wreck and injure others. At that point, I am all for sending them away.

However, to outlaw an activity simply because in a very minute amount of cases it might lead to harm is a farce.

Jesus Christ man what would you do god forbid if someone you loved was killed by a drunk driver. i bet you would change your mind then in a hurry.:rtfm:

pardon me for interjecting, but with many discussions about issues of personal choice with him under my belt, i would venture to say he wouldn't

Any news on Cokers status for Saturday night? If he is unable to go, and Foster is suspended, we have Hardesty, Yancey, and Williams, along with a freshman QB. Scary.

What WILL end up happening to these guys, and you all know it, is ONE of them will get a stiff punishment (take a WILD guess) and the other two will get a game. I agree that it may be unfair for these guys to be 'thrown under the bus' for doing something I did in college (minus the cops being called) numerous times. Where I draw a huge line in the sand however is this: these guys PUBLICLY represent UT every day (esp. saturday) on the field and are getting a huge scholarship to display their God given abilities for this university. The bad part for all of us is that a lot of incidents have UT looking like we are without discipline. Fulmer has to set examples from here on out. Yes, they're young, I'm not saying kick them off in this case- but make it to where they won't EVER want to get their name in the paper again for anything other than stats.

i think wardlow may get the least of it honestly, he was picked up for public intoxication, which was the least of the three. the other two will face the same punishment.

These kids have a free ride. They do not pay for college. They have rules to follow to stay on the team. It is illegal to drink under the age of 21 regaurdless if you agree with it or not. Yeah most 18yo college kids are out drinking and partying, but those kids are paying their way. It still doesn't make it right to drink. My oppinion is they need to be suspended for the entire Arkansas game minimium. If more facts about the case comes out then maybe longer suspensions are to follow.

they were arrested for disorderly conduct, underage drinking, and public intoxication

Only one was intoxicated....

Foster and Holbert were charged with disorderly conduct and underage alcohol consumption. Wardlow faces those same two charges along with a public intoxication charge.

Fulmer said there wasn't a curfew after games, but that the Vols do have one during the week that begins on Wednesday at 11 p.m.

Sergeant Tony Willis said Foster seen shoving somebody. Foster was then arrested, according to Willis. Foster told coaches that he was trying to shove teammates away from each other to keep the fight from escalating. Right after Foster was arrested, Willis said another altercation broke out involving Holbert and Wardlow, and they too were arrested.

Based upon what I can interpret, there were alot of football players there, only these 3 were arrested after the police arrived. Its hard to shove somebody with a beer in your hand... so I think the underage drinking charge will only stick to Wardlow. Wardlow gets all 3 charges, while Holbert and Foster get disorderly conduct. And if Foster was really trying to break up the fight, his charge will be dropped too.

IMO the individials who were caught drinking and were under age should be punished however I do not believe that Fulmer should throw the book at the them. A one game suspension is sufficient as well as wind sprints till they vomit. To my knowledge, none of them have been in trouble before. I feel that some on this board are overreacting.

THe real Ut, are you the same guy that got all over us about tailgating in G-10 because THE RULES say we cant? So the rules and laws you dont want to follow are cool for u but the rest of us have to suck it up and take it. Stay on one side of the fence or the other.
