7-5, 4-4 SEC, and a long-overdue win over Florida should be the expectation.

This should be the minimum standard that the administration and fanbase should DEMAND of this coaching staff for Year 2.

Anything less than this should be considered UNACCEPTABLE progress and should result in some required staff changes (based on evaluated team weaknesses) and being placed on an extremely hot seat for Year 3 with strict accountability. This means that Butch should be made to understand that he and his entire staff will automatically not be retained if Year 3 results in anything less than an 8-4 regular season and 5 conference wins, followed by being a legitimate contender for the SEC in Year 4.

The excellent recruiting so far by Butch and Co. is a welcome change from the Doolittle, Lame, and Philapotamus regimes, but recruiting don't mean squat unless it translates into wins on the field.

That will be something to aspire for in year two.

I think the Oklahoma game is a game we can win. We can score points against them & if our defense improves at all we can hand Stoops a loss! Georgia without Murray is also an interesting game!
