I think it's more about protecting Nico for the next 3 or 4 years.

That gives JH another year to get recruits, transfers, and look for more NIL money.

It gives Nico more time to learn the offense.

Sere a couple of faster WRs with hands, 2 or 3 better OL, and a better secondary from being much better. A big tight end with hands and a bowling ball fullback would be nice, too.

A healthy, developed QB is the linchpin going forward.

I know Joe is inconsistent, but he's the best game day option we have right now.

Joe will play well enough to win, but the defense will give up 400 yards on saturday. Our secondary is an absolute joke. Our DC doesnt know what he is doing. Our DBs are poorly coached. The best thing on defense is our Dline and that will be taken out of the game by the quick game by spencer rattler. Because our DBs play 7 - 10 yards off the WRs
