What the class of 08' really means to UT

I think that this shows us, how hard and dilligent our staff is willing to work when the odds are stacked against us.

Let's look at the facts......

We have a few million dollar upgrade to our stadium, and proposed two more phases to come. We have some of the best facilities with an excellent facility, Full indoor practice field, and state of the art athletic study center (for the athletes who actually enjoy school)

We have a winning record in every season for the last who knows how many years, we have been to a New Years eve or day bowl as long as most of these 16 and 17 yr olds can remember.

The NFL pipeline, especially for DL, OL, and RB is impeccable.

I see this as a lack of effort. When Ole Miss, switched coaches there was not a lack of intensity for recruiting. When Auburn got rid of DC, they were still receiving recruits. When UF lost it's recruiting coordinator, it stepped up and gained 3 recruit in the weeks of the loss.

Do you see the point here, with an OC missing and a WRs coach empty...CPF could not get off his behind from his seat planted behind the UT BasketVols bench to go out and do the recruiting himself. DC Chavis would not go out and actually handle visits himself, and take care of txt msgs and phone calls.

To me it is the intensity and fire that is elluding UT team from being champions.

Ok great, so that was an ill-informed point. I am thinking for the future, if all of you have a problem with that point come over and shine up my DIPLOMA and kiss my UT ring. The point is for a one REAL ALUMNUS opinion.

haha. I can't believe this guy. I dont know why you think our coach/coaches are lazy. These guys just aren't out here to put a headset on and look good for the cameras. They have jobs to do and surely they realize that.

Really, then why did it take 3 months to secure a recruit? Oh probably because they were too busy working hard on the headset.

no one cares about you Alumus opinion. They are plenty of other alums, and non alums on here that make more sense then this. Hell, there are teenagers on here that make more sense.

The reason Phil wasn't out recruiting instead of being at BBall games was because it was the law.

well obviously neither you, nor I can say for sure. Just because we don't get a recruit for 3 months doesn't mean its the coaches fault. They're recruiting, no matter how much you want to say they aren't..they are.

What in the world does this have to do with your post? Furthermore, what do your diploma and ring have to do with the future?

By the way, if text messages are banned, then why did T Pryor have to change over to an unlimited txt plan. Obviously things are illegal if reported, and current players can txt all they want.

Do you want me to hold you hand with every point I made?

Maybe you should go on the recruiting trail with CPF and show these recruits your shiny ring and a framed diploma.

The dead period is for 2 and half weeks, not 3 months. WE got a commit in Sept. and in November we got a soft-from a kid whom TT recruited. The next was mid- Jan....a lengthy dead period for us, not recruiting in general.

Well CPF was too busy looking for a coach, to visit recruits...so I would be lonely on the road.

In two years I will have degree #3 from the University of Tennessee. You should bow before me and beg to clean the bottom of my shoes with your tongue.
