You obviously don’t live in SC. They are the most delusional fan base in football. My motto for them, “ National Champs in September. Done by October.”
They sincerely think they are the upper echelon of the SEC East.

Believe me there are plenty of Richard heads in Columbia. My days of having any sympathy for any other school died with Franklin at Vandy. Used to root for instate kids when we weren’t playing them. Nothing on this earth is more insufferable than an entitled Vandy fan.

Yeah they took that title from Georgia when they won the national title last year.

Vandy fans are actually in the top 3 worse fans, at least from a Tennessee fan experience. Issue is that they don't have many fans but a serious one is really a pain in the butt (I know a few, one quit being a fan recently (for a good reason) and jumped on Alabama). They hate Tennessee and will root for anyone against Tennessee. When they lose, they talk about Vandy degrees being better when most of them didn't even attend Vandy.

Vandy doesn’t have fans. They have transient aholes that root for any team but Tennessee. We have a few special snowflakes in state that just want to be “different” and root against Tennessee. Not surprisingly most don’t have degrees from Vandy and have mental health issues.

Some I hate- UF. Some I just hate when they’re too good- UGA. Others are just pets that misbehave once in a while- USCe, UK, et al. Some I even like when they’re not playing UT- LSU, Mizzou, MSU

At least they're not delusional like some other fan bases. They're bad this year and they know it. I've never had a problem with South Carolina or their fans. But with that being said WGWTFA!

Beamer is USC’s version of Derek Dooley, the Tennessee coach from 2010-2012. Son of a famous coach, a 5-7 or 6-6 coach, and essentially “nothing special”. I disagree. Old guys who can't hold their water and want to change coaches every five minutes is a bigger problem. Beamer may fail, or may not, no way to know without giving him a chance.
Looks like its working out well for Tenn

Look at the 2023 schedule. There might be 3 or 4 wins on that schedule. We've regressed significantly. Tennessee is going to hang 70 on this defense and we won't cross midfield against Clemson.

Never been too much against SC...but I have a sister who has lived in Columbia for 40+ years and she begs me every year to "please beat South Carolina". She says some of the fans are the most obnoxious people on earth. And she's retired from the governor's office:D:D. I always laugh because I've heard that said about literally every college program in Division 1. At any rate...hope we win in an ole fashion boat racing!!

I’m thinking you’re right. We’re all arrogant when it comes to our teams. I can handle the chat and banter but beyond that - with the “sign language”, violence, or property damage, it’s NOT cool. I see tons of gator and bama flags and stickers in my area in Tennessee. Most of them are just backing a winner - not many were doing that until about 2005 or so … I’m seeing more Georgia red than anything else - besides TN of course.
