You sound so happy about this garbage you are inventing. It is not a tradition. It's a sign of a despicable low character that you enthuse about it.

Your post history shows that you're lying. Are Marines taught to lie and backstab their own team and fellows like you're doing? It's dishonorable and cowardly. It's certainly not the way of the Vol faithful. And to do so under explicit cover of the proud emblem is doubly faithless. You make a mockery of "Standing United Forever." Semper Infidelis, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Ah here we go. Misdirection

Not sure if this guy is a Marine, or not.
All I know is people like you and JP-82 are completely ignoring the man's question.

What makes you so righteous???

Either answer the man's question or shut up. Your tiny, minuscule words of defiance ain't going to mean crap when the offense goes 3 and out over and over to start the game.🙄

My answer: 1st quarter.

Not always. Milton played great in the first New Year's six bowl bowl we had been to since 1999 to beat ACC champion Clemson
I don’t know that I would agree with Grey. Clemson drove down inside the 25 five different times throughout the game without coming away with points. If they had just scored two touchdowns, it would’ve created a different dynamic to the game. Milton missed some very easy throws as is typically the case but eventually connected on the deep ball to Keyton.
He was purely a game manager, which is I believe his absolute ceiling.

Or, they’ll be willing to do so until the backup 5-star makes a mistake because he’s not ready or somebody on the O-line whiffs a block and he blows his knee or breaks something and is lost for the season 🤷‍♂️
Works both ways…
Will see you man. Our office of lawn has been really bad with penalties etc. but they haven’t been terrible at pass protecting. Milton is absolutely not getting beat up back there. And separately, the best thing you can do for a shaky offense of line is have a quarterback that is really athletic/electric with the ball in his hand.

At the very least, we should be getting Nico a lot of playing time. At worst… He’s not gonna play more poorly than Milton, and will be gaining a lot of valuable experience as he is undoubtably the future quarterback. At best… He is able to create and do something more than just managing a game while missing a bunch of wide-open receivers.

If you don’t like what you see on the field, then leave. If it continues to another game, stop going. Don’t waste your time and money if you aren’t happy with what you see. Just go to the pregame stuff outside the stadium if you wish to show your fandom, but dislike the play. Don’t boo a player/team that is playing because the coach put them in. (I thought JG was terrible but never booed him)

I hope the same thing, but let’s be realistic. The fan base is more like 50/50 split between Nico and Milton.
The thing is that the people who support Heupel's decision to go with Milton will not boo Nico when he comes in.
It's not like there is a split between Milton and Nico supporters, it's more of a split between people who support the coaches and their decisions and those who do not.

I certainly do not agree with all of the coaches' decision, but I try to support them.

Revisionist history there. He also hit Squirrel on a bomb and threw a 20 yd dart across the middle to Bru for a TD that was in a 2 ft window. I by no means am saying he is elite, but you and others here trot out your negative narratives the minute you get a chance. Petty at best

This.

I don't give a rats ass about how much the coach or the university makes or how much the tickets cost. Booing college students playing a friggin game is on that list of " things done by low class trailer park white trash idiots".
It's exactly why, at times, our fan base has been a laughingstock

Since it’s become tradition to “boo”the starting QB, when will the fans start to be heard?
It’s a damn shame that people don’t realize that booing is more embarrassing than the performance at Floriduh. Vols football is my family, I might expect the best from them but, I’m not going to further berate them by booing. I’m disappointed just like most but wow….

Wholeheartedly agree.

Gotta admit though, I caught myself booing a few years back during the Old Miss game after like the 396th flop. I don't really like feeling like trailer park white trash honestly so could we carve out an exception for unsportsmanlike antics? Should those circumstances be repeated, I'm not so sure I will not boo again ha ha.

19 year old kid (Jesus I'm getting old !) who has made a mistake when the proverbial "bullets are flying" deserve a bit of grace-no matter who they play for.

Some people don’t believe in booing (Especially at college games).
Some dont believe in wooing (Especially during Rocky Top).
Some think that both are a paying fan’s prerogative to do so even if they don’t personally do it or like it.
potato, potatoe.

And all of these are absolutely the correct take.

I can tolerate a few boos if a coach decides to kick a FG on the 1 yd line. Booing a QB because he's made a mistake or two is pathetic. And no one on this board has the knowledge the coaches do to make PT decisions with players. I say STFU and have some class

When Kamal Haddon gets introduced as a starter. Even “ignorant” fans recognize a lack of effort and talent.

jUST SOMETHING TO ASK YOURSELF: .............How many head coaches (paid multi millions of dollars) will ever admit that their play calling was so vanilla that it spoiled before the game was over. I will never boo the Vols but, I sure will complain when we are not given an adequate chance to win the game by stupid play calling. Same 4 or 5 plays were ran the entire game last week.
