Laying the wood down on Tenn wont prove anything in regard to the sec not being all that. Need to beat the top tier of the sec and give them the black eye instead.
Wishes do come true and TN will be back to that tier sooner(no pun intended) than later....yep, koolaid and all !

I'm guessing 48-14...even tho I'll be there pulling for a win. I'll agree that the OU posters have been the classiest we've seen in a while.
Sorry, 55-19 is just a jab at OU. I'm sure they will be quick to mention that game never happened though.

It will be fun watching these two schools play against each other. I recalled the 1968 Orange Bowl when Tennessee was ranked #2 and OU was #3. OU won in a so-called upset 26-24. TU had an all American whose name was Johnson? He was going up against little Granville Liggins (only 6' for a nose tackle). Johnson was getting beat so badly by Liggins they had to resort to double teaming him. Liggins went on to be an all American. Another all right player on that OU team was a guy named Bobby Warmack. After that game they went on to be legions in Sooner lore.

I always liked watching the Oklahoma-Nebraska games back in the 80s with Osborne coaching Nebraska and, his name skips my mind, coaching Oklahoma.

Man, I wish I could remember his name. Kinda funny laugh. Friends with Jerry Jones. Coached for the Cowboys after some troubles at Oklahoma

Well, must not be important

That was a tough game, but I don't remember anything like that about Bob Johnson.

They went on to be "legions" ? :eek:hmy: :whistling:

With the right qb, our receivers could make anyone have a bad day. Unfortunately, Worley isn't likely to utilize them to the fullest.

Ehh I don't know about this. Worley is looking very sharp right now. Working with Peyton Manning all summer has done absolute wonders for his game. Go back and watch our first 2 games, Worley is standing strong in the pocket and he his placing the ball in some very tight windows. Very good looking throws too, and he's keeping the ball on the read much better. Worley could very well give OU fits this Saturday.

I really hope he continues to progress. I'd love to see him go John Crompton Georgia game on Oklahoma. He's definitely running the offense better, but that deep ball still isn't there for him. I just think about what Bray would do with North, Pearson, Pig, and Malone.
