Explain your position if you want to.

I'll say I'm finding myself in a unique place. I'm questioning whether things are so much better or is it just me trying to find reasons to be hopeful.

But the interesting thing for me is, I haven't talked to a single person in real life who isn't excited about what's happening.

I am sitting

Can't say that I'm as fired up about it as you are VG.

After all, I have been sitting all my life

The Dooley era has made me a pessimist. I want to believe, but nothing definitive is ever proven during the off season.

I'm all in. Why wouldn't I be? Who knows what we'll be looking at several months from now, but between now and then I can choose to piss and moan all the way or I can try to join in with the hopeful and excited. Never know, a groundswell of excitement and enthusiasm among the fanbase could be that last little bit that pushes these already fired up kids into doing something really special this fall.

Everything appears headed in the right direction quickly.

We still have to see the product on the field, but those reservations are limited. Butch has demonstrated success in other places so it should not be too different here where money and tradition bring increased opportunities.

I always cheer for the Vols. However, the proof is on the field. Not on signing day, not in Spring practice....What happens during the season is what matters. I can accept losses when the opponent is better, but when I was in school from '90-'94 there was only UF and Bama that were "better" than UT...and not by a ton.

With all that said, Jones reminds me of Bruce Pearl with his energy and competitiveness. I think UT will compete better this season.

I am enjoying Coach Jones' intensity and efforts but I am still a long way off in being convinced he is the man to put it all together. However, what he has done so far has given me some confidence that he may do it.

I feel like we may be on our way quickly. 2013 may be a bit scary. It's all good though, this recruiting is definetly looking right!

I'm optimistic towards the season. If we get 7 or 8 wins, it'll be nice. A couple of games should have gone the other way (i.e. wins) for the Vols last year.

I have zero control on what happens. The Vols are more important to me than any other thing in my life that's not "important". I am more excited than I've been in a looong time for Tennessee Football.

I am all the way in. Why not be?

I'm all in. I think the Big Orange was talented last year, just had bad coaching. I was disgusted during the coaching search, and for some reason I really did NOT want Strong. I think Jones is an excellent coach. I believe the team will be improved this year, and really good in 2-3 years. JMO

Im hopeful. Hes done all the right things so far and i believe he can get it done, But what matters is the final product. I like CBJ, but i cant say hes the next great coach yet, even with the potential he has to be just that.
