I've been impressed with the recruiting for the coming year and it's beginning to give me hope that things will start to turn around in the next couple years. That said, I'm also fully aware that we return one of the worst defenses in SEC history, lost all our playmakers on offense and that this fall is likely to be one last abysmal season we'll have to suffer through before things start trending upward to some degree. I'm going to try to just write this coming year off as a by-product of the Dooley era and look forward to the future. I honestly think we're at least one more head coach away from winning the SEC again, but unlike with Dooley, I'm pretty confident that Jones can at least get us back to the point where we're 8-4 or 9-3 on a yearly basis.
