I've heard of the good things that are going on with Coach Jones and his motivation. That being said, and based on previous experience, I would like to see the product match the attitude in order to make a fair assessment. So, option 3.

I am all in. No fence walking here. I have not been this excited about an upcoming football season in a while. First year for Kiffin I was excited, same for Dooley. I must admit it would have been interesting to see what Kiffin would have put on the field year 2. But then again, when you look at his year 2 plus products at USCw it makes you wonder if he would have been successful at the UT. Glad he and Dooley are gone and looking forward to seeing what CBJ does this fall with integrity and fire.

I've been impressed with the recruiting for the coming year and it's beginning to give me hope that things will start to turn around in the next couple years. That said, I'm also fully aware that we return one of the worst defenses in SEC history, lost all our playmakers on offense and that this fall is likely to be one last abysmal season we'll have to suffer through before things start trending upward to some degree. I'm going to try to just write this coming year off as a by-product of the Dooley era and look forward to the future. I honestly think we're at least one more head coach away from winning the SEC again, but unlike with Dooley, I'm pretty confident that Jones can at least get us back to the point where we're 8-4 or 9-3 on a yearly basis.

I'm in wait-and-see mode, which is where I have been since Butch was hired. He's been tearing it up on the recruiting front. Now I want to see how he does on the field.

I'm all in and always will be! If I could hold back my love for Tennessee football I wouldn't be here on this board now! GBO!

Volley Girl, do you know if there was a similar poll early in CDD's tenure? Would be interesting since, as of Sunday 3/24) morning there are just slightly more cautious folks as there are all in.....142/138. There is only 1 nay sayer and 12 no improvement folks. Was wondering if the nay sayer and no improvement numbers were higher early in CDD's tenure.

Also, there is the same trend with the "all in'ers". If you aren't all in, you have quit on the Vols. Nothing could be further from the truth, however, I can see another sad time period of if you can't be 1000% behind CBJ and everything he is doing then you are a NEGAVOL!
