Where does "class warfare" stop?

It's not that hard. Fairness would dictate you should earn about seven times your lowest paid employee. There is some flexibility there, especially if you are generating lead yourself / involved in the labor process too. In other words, you could slide the scale up if you are being productive yourself.

Was "lead" just a substitute for "widget"?

7 times?

So i created the business. Run the business. Took the risk. And only deserve 7 times the lowest paid guys rate????

You also didn't throw out a hard number even though I gave you enough to put together a cashflow report because you have no idea how to do one and have never owned a business.

I asked for hard numbers. Real data.

You gave me nothing. I knew you would.

Now that's funny.

For someone with no degree or special skill I would say starting out at 3 dollars per hour over minimum wage is a fair rate ... which is what they start at or more.

Everyone has been raised to believe that they can become millionaires, but nobody has been told that it doesn't work that way. The only way you can become rich is to take advantage of other people. I'll be perfectly happy with not being rich. I'd rather not make a fortune off of other peoples' misfortunes.

what a crock

Yeah. You're right. The easiest way to become rich is to walk all over people. Takes a bit more work to do it yourself. I have a lot of respect for those that make it while still treating their employees well.

ok, this is bs all around.

tell me how one gets a business off the ground (which is becoming rich) by screwing over a bunch of employees who barely know him and are there for a check???

when I started I posted my ads on craigslist, like other do or through monster or the paper etc, and people joined my business because the pay rate was the right rate for them.

how does one even step on someones back when starting a business from the ground????

Dumber than anything Gibbs has ever said.

What a pile of shat? Who did all the internet millionaires walk all over? How about Thomas Edison? George Washington?

Forget the names, there are millions.

I can normally find a tidbit in most posts that I agree with. The bold is it here.

"Everybody" and "only"? Surely you don't believe this.

But its possible and people have done it?

Obama's net worth is estimated to be $10.5 million. Who did he take advantage of? What misfortunes of others resulted in his fortune?

well, you could say that it was misfortune that people bought a book expecting it to have been written by Obama only to find out later that it was written by Bill Ayers.

Gibbs' support of Wal-mart business practices is the funniest thing I've read in a loooong time.

If you don't like the wages Walmart pays then don't work there.

you don't understand. It's conscription and all those employees are being screwed. They've all been forced to stick with the skillset that relegated them to their current gig. Rich people did it by shirking responsibility to poor people.

Right right, of course, how could I forget.

I suppose "rich" people also forced them to drop out of high school, have about 3-4 illegitimate kids, not learn proper english and dress like a hobo?

I don't understand why they shouldn't be paid $100,000 a year, they obviously earned it.

I'm not against the wealthy, but I'm not a fan of inheritance. Everybody should earn theirs. I will do my best to give my kids and grandkids every opportunity to succeed, but I'm not going to just hand them money. I'm dead set for cutting to the bare minimum before any tax increase, but I would support an increase in estate taxes before any others.

That's my class warfare.
