I took five minutes and read Hoop Dr's posts and I wonder how Coach Jumper arrived at his conclusion. He was no more or less knowledgeable or profound than the average LV poster.

I think the operative word is changes. And I would love to know what the changes are, but nobody's telling as far as I can see.

It'll come out or it won't. Just hope for the best and pull for ALL the Ladys.

Alexa leaving, is change.
But is it a good one?

It has to be, now.

The key... Will it improve, by proxy, the team's own combined chemistry?

I wish A\M well.

I hope she finds a team that can use her passion and desire to shoot that 3.
I hope she averages 30 a game.
Mostly, I hope she has a fun year.

Just like Brewer it will not come out. There isn't a story here that hasn't been reported. Alexa wants to be the offensive focal point and that won't happen here. She is a very smart girl. I don't think she dreams of WNBA very unglamorous life, she simply wants to be a go to player one more time, and then get on with her life and career. She has to be very close to graduating at UT ( 3 years and three summers) sitting out a year, and then another...masters and well on way to doctorate. Good for her. I simply wish she saw her role at UT as fulfilling

have found her role fulfilling? She had a limited role on a team that underachieved greatly and lost 13 games, playing for a coach who, on her best days, is mediocre, and she doesn't have too many best days. What is fulfilling about that?

When you work with a player, you are supposed to improve her on-the-court, not out-the-door! Lol. 😉😂😢

I understand what your saying but it hurts my heart that she felt she need to "go somewhere that she could achieve the goals she set for herself," as she put it.

I know what caliber of person she is, how much extra work she put in on her own time to improve her game and she did, whether some people want to say she did or not.

She truly gave her ALL for Tennessee and it hurts me that apparently, that wasn't enough. If you knew her personally you would understand why.

But...it is what it is and life goes on. Just sad about it right now.

I don't know why you are so down about this. Almost sounds like you feel UT failed Alexa because her best wasn't good enough and that's hurtful to you.

Trying hard and doing your best at a given situation is no guarantee of success, but it's not a failure unless you give up. Alexa hasn't given up, she's trying to find a situation that will enable her to achieve her goals. She's moving forward. That's what I call success.
