ALexa is a fine young lady, who would have tutored and helped the Freshman girls to excel and become great so this team could reach it's heights again. She would not have stood in the way of their learning or advancement because their success would have been Alexa's success. I know this because I know her and one of her parents. I know how the child was raised. She has honor.
Yeah, when a player says she is transferring to accomplish her goals, in common parlance we would say that she "wants to transfer." You know, her decision, pursuing her goals, etc. To my knowledge she was not forced to transfer or is transferring against her will. So, why are you choking on the word "wants."
And nothing in my post suggested that Alexa lacked honor or would have somehow tried to impede the progress of the freshman. When I said hypothetically, I want a player who says the freshman will have to wait-- I meant that in the sense of a determination to become so good, that you have to be played over less experienced players. Isn't that consistent with "alpha" mindset you always preach.
Of course, this is just another case of you "jumping" in to make a humble brag, you know her, her family, you have trained all the rest. Wonderful, CJ, wonderful.
