she wasn't gonna be a key player next year and she knew it. I rooted hard for her because I like her but she wasn't gonna get many minutes next year and that's that. I still say she can find a team where she can make a huge contribution and I hope she does

Wouldn't exactly call Tucker a transfer (as a negative against the coach). I think it was a stellar work of coaching and being a good decent person that she ever made it to TN. Tucker never got over the emotional side of being chained up & beaten!

She was injured and couldn't play. Think also she had a boyfriend at TN that transferred out, so she had to get back close to home for support.

Guess we can play semantics (i.e.transfer), but from my perspective you are spot on.

Jannah had a lot of issues impacting her and none was basketball related. Holly and the program were class acts in supporting her, both coming and going. Wish her the best.

is a case study in how athleticism, while extremely important in basketball, doesn't help shoot and put the ball in the basket. It's about scoring--and scoring efficiently. We've been torched for years by players at ND and elsewhere who weren't great athletes but they could/can shoot the three! You have to make threes. We've now got one half-way dependable three-point shooter. That's a problem.

Which is classic Alexa. She is a fantastic young woman. Her making the decision to leave really makes me sad because eI know how much she loves Tennessee. I wish her so much success wherever she goes...will always be rooting for her.

You know what - you're right. It just all makes me so sad - but it is what it is.

I know what kind of person AM is and the kind of family she has. I can say this as a fact: I witnessed with my own eyes her family, all season long, cheer on and support the entire team - and I mean emphatically cheering them on individually by their names - whether Alexa started or not and no matter how many minutes she got. That's a fact.

Alexa's transfer may not be a big deal in some peoples' minds because of their opinions about her playing, but for me, it's a big loss for the Lady Vol family - one that really hurts my heart. Yes, I have a heart - that's my main problem and why I get so mad on here sometimes. 😭💔
