Certainly hope not. Both GA & Michigan are locks for the playoff, even if they lose their conference championship and I find it unlikely the committee would put bama in ahead of a 1 loss OSU.

It looks like the final 4 will be some combination of the following 6: 1. GA, 2. Michigan 3. TCU 4. USC 5. OSU 6. *LSU

*LSU has the hardest path of any of the 6. I think they’ll struggle tonight at tAm

I don't know. If USC loses tonight or next week. Also if TCU loses to K-State in Championship game. I could see Georgia, Alabama,Michigan and Ohio State being final 4.

It’s possible, just think unlikely. I’ll admit I’m biased. No 2 teams I hate more than bama & fl.

Even if TCU loses a close one against K-State I’m not sure the committee puts bama in over TCU as they’ll most likely be #3 going into big 12 championship game.

I think we’re ready for a playoff without bama or clemson and hope we get it. Pulling for TCU, LSU & USC today. The good news is all 3 of those teams will be favored over bama to make the playoffs if they win out.

Don't count Alabama out of the playoffs. Killing Auburn today, couple teams above them lose and bingo…….and they are the chosen team in college football

We got slaughtered by an unranked team and only fell 5 spots. LSU getting beat by GA is NOT going to drop them below us. Bama and LSU will get the Sugar and Orange, leaving us inCotton Bowl.

TCU with any loss will be out of the playoff. When the season is over tonight, TCU will have not played a team with fewer than 3 losses.... TCU loses today or next week and they'll be lucky to stay in the top 8

LSU with 3 losses is headed to Cotton, I’d believe. Logistics of fans and us traveling well would be ideal for Miami.

Sugar Bowl has to take highest ranked SEC team not in the playoff. That will be Bama.

LSU wins in Atlanta, they are in the playoff. They lose in Atlanta and they drop behind 10-2 Bama and 10-2 Tennessee

There is no way LSU loses in Atlanta and stays ranked ahead of Bama or Tennessee. Going into next week, we should move up one spot to 9 with Clemson loss. If Oregon game holds, USC and Oregon will both be ranked ahead of us and one has to lose between them when they play so that would move us up 1 more spot. Not sure LSU can be 4 or 5 and lose and stay inside top 8 with 3 losses.

I want a matchup with a power 5 opponent - not a group of 5 team. Would be good with a game against Clemson, North Carolina or North Carolina State from the ACC.
