I think it's the Citrus no matter what happens. Losing Hooker will diminish us in the eyes of a bowl's selection committee.

Unfortunately, it's what this team's performance warrants. They've no one to blame but themselves. Maybe this will serve as a learning experience/reminder that you can't take any opponent much less a league opponent for granted. You go out and take care of business like TCU is doing or you suffer the consequences.

So if LSU loses tonight (looking likely), would mean that bama goes to SECCG. Let’s say UGA beats them, giving bama a 3rd loss. Would we go to the sugar bowl?

No LSU will still go. Will be there 2nd sec loss and they hold tie breaker

No, Alabama wouldn’t go the SECCG. LSU has 2 losses to FSU & UT, and since only one of those was an SEC loss, they’re still 6-1 in conference play.

As long as LSU doesn’t upset UGA - automatically sending the Tigers to the Sugar Bowl - then yes.

The NY6 is determined by thee teams CFP Polls. We’ll move up 3 spots this week & should feel pretty good about the Orange Bowl. Cotton at worst. I think the only thing that would keep us out of Orange Bowl is if (somehow) LSU beats UGA & secures the Sugar Bowl. Then Bama would get the Orange

Correct. Even then it’s likely Tennessee would end up in the Cotton Bowl. Unless somehow Oregon upsets USC to go to the Rose Bowl, and USC still stays above Tennessee after the loss…but then again that might put Alabama in the playoffs.

Who would opt out? Hyatt maybe? Tillman is done for the year as is. There’s no one else that wouldn’t benefit from a good performance vs most likely Clemson.

It goes by the final CFP rankings. Highest ranked SEC team after the playoff selection (currently Alabama at the moment) goes to the Sugar Bowl.
