Also, got to love the comparing Dooley's coaching experience to CBJs as if they took the same route. CBJ took over after solid HCs got hired away, and Dooley took over complete rebuilds (and NO to anyone that wants to say CBJs didn't walk into a worse situation). But remind them that Dooley had a better first year record at UT, and OMG ur fan card is revoked. Ha!!

Sure is a lot of wasted effort on a couple of morons that are so in love with Dooley they ignore what virtually every HS school coach in the state of Tennessee has said about him.

They ignore he quit on his team. They ignore his choice to switch a top 30 defense to a 3-4. They ignore everything except their burning desire to hump Dooley's bright orange pants like puppies.

Cause like Joker Phillips didn't hide who they were playing at QB up to the pt where he ran out for the first play...so hard to gameplan for...

Cause like their PUNTER didn't have one of the best punting games I can remember...seriously I remember how great of a game a punter had that's a freaking great game...he was spot on that day...

Cause like...the O didn't fumble the ball while we were on the goal line...

But if CBJ was that much better coach/recruiter then Dooley (if that was obvious) things should not have been viewed as equal by recruits. But that was not what we saw in recruiting battle, or head to head matchup between the two. The first time we can truly say there is evidence that CBJ may turn out better than Dooley is after he pulled in this last amazing class. Because his record and coaching during his first year at UT was not better than Dooley either.

Dooley beat Jones on the field. Why aren't you just using that as the reason that Dooley is better?

That WR laid low his entire college career and didn't even practice at QB just for the opportunity to trick our legendary coach...for one game.

Keep scrambling for more evidence. Each point you made just reinforced my points that Dools was as inept a football coach as has ever walked the sidelines. He was more concerned with bamboo, orange dogs and Where Rommel was. I will not even mention the debacle of his last game versus candy when his well oiled machine was crushed like a 1974 ford pinto at the junkyard. But you go on telling yourself that Dools was a great coach. Football people know different.
