I agree. What sold me on Dobbs, too, is his awareness in the pocket... sensing where the pressure is coming from and the ability to make a quick decision to either step up or to the side and deliver the ball (accurately) or to slip out and make BIG PLAYS as a runner.I have to respectfully disagree with many on this board...
After watching senior highlight film of both Dobbs and Ferguson; I 100% have faith that Dobbs gives us the best chance to win.
He shows good pocket presence, has solid arm strength and can RUN. He makes good decisions with the ball and gives any team he's on a better chance to win.
Riley is a tremendous athlete and shows great potential as well, but in the first few mintues of his film I witnessed him haphazardly sling the ball in the air multiple times. This works in High school against inferior talent and coaching, but not here. I question his decision making.
