Which NFL team will Broncos/Manning fans flock to when Peyton retires?

Steelers - Ramon foster & Daniel McCullers

Oh, almost let it slip by - 8 SB appearances - 6 victories

The CowBoys are America's team but the Steelers are the Worlds team.

Cowboys haven't won a play off game in almost a decade.
They are living off of their past accomplishments.

The Cowboys owner runs the organization in a dysfunctional way but the Steelers run their organization well.

Notice that Pittsburgh declined to have "Hard Knocks" film their training camp but the Cowboys were happy to do it.

Notice that the Cowboys will overpay free agents in a nano second and not get their moneys worth from the deal; whereas Pittsburgh NEVER even attempts to sign the top free agents in the off season.

No MIchael Vick, No Terrell Owens, No Chris Johnson, No Vince Young, No Charles Woodson, No Chad Johnson, No Keyshawn Johnson.

What if the Steelers drafted Dobbs? Just going by your earlier post...

Just messin' with you buddy. If Dobbs or any other current player becomes the "next great Vol" I'll pull for him if he gets drafted by the Steelers, the Seahawks or Afghanistan's newly minted NFL team. If I don't have a dog in the hunt, I typically pull for the NFL team that has the most Vols on its roster.

Don't know what other fans will do. I will always be a Packers and Redskins due contact and experiences I had with their players (and family members) decades ago as a college student.

I am a Steelers fan and have been on since 1979.

I even supported them when Kordell Stewart was the q.b. When Bubby Brister was the q.b. When Mark Malone was the q.b.
When Tommy Maddox was the q.b.

I don't see how people change teams along the way.

We must be about the same age. Remember Cliff Stoudt? It took the Steelers 20 years to finally get Bradshaw's replacement

None. Honestly couldn't care less about the NFL; I'm all orange, all college football!

Well, I do follow Denver and PM - I really football myself out on Saturdays and stay up til 3 am on here when the games are over --- wont miss the NFL when he retires because I didnt even follow it or miss it, when he missed the final season with the Colts.

I don't see the Cowboys getting alot more fans than they already have.

They are not really dedicated to winning. As long as they go 8 - 8 for the season, the management seems to be content.

To them it is about their profit margin and not the winning record. If they were 3 - 13 for the season and had record ticket sales and record memoribilia sales, then they would be happy as can be.

To root for them is to set yourself up for disappointment.

If they ever got serious about winning, then they may be able to do well. They are not in a very strong division. So, with a little dedication, they can own the division.

Could have had Dan Marino but drafted Gabe Rivera.

Imagine NOT having all of the interceptions that Stewart threw each time we played New England in the play offs.
He was too short to see over the line.

Had Marino been the starting q.b. we would have been in two more Super Bowls and we would have won the 1995 SuperBowl against Dallas.

That would have been 10 SuperBowls and 9 SuperBowl wins.

Yes he was, but he played so bad in that game it kind of overshadowed everything else he did for Pittsburgh.

Didn't Andre Hastings run the wrong route twice in one game? Wasn't that the reason for those pick 6 interceptions????

1994 played San Diego and lost 13 - 17 in Conference Championship

1997 played Denver and lost 21 - 24 in Conference Championship

1996 played New England and lost Tomscak threw 2 interceptions score 3 - 28

2001 played New England and lost Kordell threw 3 interceptions Score 17 - 24

2002 played the Titans and lost 31 - 34.

With the right q.b., they could have advanced to the Superbowl in a couple of those seasons.

I became a Colts fan in the mid 90s when Ted Marchibroda was their coach. Manning being drafted by them made me a much bigger Colts fan and I'm still a Colts fan today although I root for Denver and Manning as well. I could never root against Peyton so I even rooted for Denver this past year when they played the Colts. My loyalty to an NFL team pales in comparison to my loyalty to the Vols. I would never root against the Big Orange!

I've been impressed how Arian Foster went from undrafted free agent to practice squad to All pro. I've become a Houston fan. Still don't know what got into Matt Schaub's head. :hi:
