Which NFL team will Broncos/Manning fans flock to when Peyton retires?

AFC-Titans....always pulled for them accept against Manning's Colts
NFC-Packers....always pulled for them with Farve and Reggie....plus their fans seem to have a lot of Vol like passion for their Packers....good or bad.

Green Bay through and through! Maybe in a few years they'll be drafting an Aaron Rodgers backup and will grab Riley!

About Packers fans, we are crazy passionate. Went to Lambeau this past year and it was 5 degrees at kickoff, and there was not an empty seat all game. Crazy determination

Green Bay is like a college Town when it comes to football, the fans pass there season tickets down to the kids and so on the waiting list is like 10 years or more, and Lambeau field, nothing more to say just 1, and I am not even a Packer fan.

I am a Steelers fan and have been on since 1979.

I even supported them when Kordell Stewart was the q.b. When Bubby Brister was the q.b. When Mark Malone was the q.b.
When Tommy Maddox was the q.b.

I don't see how people change teams along the way.

First team I ever loved was the Packers. But when they aren't playing. I back other teams too if they have a former Vol on the roster. In my circle of friends, there are fans of Steelers, Dolphins, Titans, and 49ers and a few that jump around.

Some of those that jump around on the NFL do so due to coaching change, or to them getting a player they find deeply offensive like pac-man was getting arrested, or when the Eagles brought back Michael Vick.

In a sense, I can see it. If you only like a team, your loyalty is fluid. But if you love a team, that is lasting.

Whoever PM roots for.

Manning will likely root for the Giants until his brother retires, then I have no idea who he will root for, maybe his former teams, Colts or Broncos?

Have you noticed that both of his teams are horses? Colts & Broncos.

Another possibility is that he buys a team of his own and roots for it.

I was depressed watching the Lady Vols softball team taking on OK this afternoon. Then I read this post. I needed a good laugh. Thanks!!!

Like I said in an earlier post, I believe that Bray will not be a Chief for long because Murray will take his roster spot.

I see four possibilities for Bray

(1) Get picked up by Pittsburgh. IF you remember that the Steelers lead Mr. Bray to believe that they were interested in Tyler but then Pittsburgh passed on Bray and selected the Q.B. from Oklahoma. Maybe if Pittsburgh is still interested they can get him. I remember that Mr. Bray was upset when Pittsburgh didn't select him. I guess Mr. Bray bought a lot of Steelers memoribilia and now can't use it, so he is upset.

(2) He is out of the league completely

(3) He buys a passport to Canada and plays there.

(4) Somehow he remains on the Chiefs roster.

I followed Montana from the 49ers to the Chiefs when I was a kid. I have been a Chiefs fan ever since, it is just an added bonus that they have Berry now. Not to mention they are loaded with SEC players.

Bray
Colquitt
Fulton

But lets not forget the other Vols besides Berry.

When Peyton retires I will be on the Andrew Luck bandwagon as he is my second favorite QB in the league right now. He also is the one I think who stands the best chance of being Peyton 2.0 but with a better post season winning %.

Been a Vikings fan since the 60's. Keep telling myself that next year = Super Bowl winners. My father, in his 90's, has been a die hard Vike fan since their inception. They need to win a SB just so he can finally put his horns to rest.

I don't see the Titans getting alot more fans than they already have.

They are not really dedicated to winning. As long as they go 8 - 8 for the season, the management seems to be content.

To them it is about their profit margin and not the winning record. If they were 3 - 13 for the season and had record ticket sales and record memoribilia sales, then they would be happy as can be.

To root for them is to set yourself up for disappointment.

If they ever got serious about winning, then they may be able to do well. They are not in a very strong division. It isn't a super weak conference but it isn't really strong either. So, with a little dedication, they can own the division.

The Titans aren't dedicated to winning? That's false. We just fired Munchak for hovering around .500 for 3 straight years. Try again.

When a new guy comes in, you usually fire the coach to shake things up, to give the appearance that things will be different than the old regime.

Jacksonville recently got a new owner and Jack Del Rio was fired.

Dallas got a new owner and he immediately fired Tom Landry.

Watch what the Titans do in free agency in the off season. If Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, Reggie Wayne & Austin Collie were all free agents, the TItans wouldn't try to go after the top guys but they go for the cheapest guy that they can get the job done.

Look at the list of free agents at any position and see which one they ended up signing. If there were 5 wide receivers available in the free agency, they would sign the 4th best of that group.

I know, your claim now will be that they pursued Manning before he signed with Denver but they was just a publicity stunt to attempt to energize the fan base. Bud knew that Manning was not going to sign with them; especially after the way they treated McNair in the past.

Look at the free agents that the Titans usually sign in the off season:

Carl Pickens, Randy Moss, Had they not been frugal, they could have signed free agents that were worth the money that was spent on them but the Titans took the cheap route and look at what it got them.

Also, they drafted PacMan and Fisher knew he was a problem child but did it anyway.

They drafted Vince Young and they knew he did horribly on the Wonderlic at the Combine but they took him anyway.

They drafted the d.b. from University of Oklahoma named Woolford, and he was not a good pick.

Then they drafted the over rated running back from U of Arizona named Henry and he never saw the field.

Then they had LaGarrett Blount in training camp but cut him and he ended up having a fairly good career thus far with Tampa, New England nad now Pitt.

I have been a Colts fan since I was a kid and when my favorite team took my favorite Vol I was ecstatic. When they had to let Peyton go I understood and when they got Luck I knew I would not have to suffer the plight of Titans fans and live in the darkness of mediocrity. I hope Peyton gets another ring and I will root for that, but I am a Colts guy forever.

The way it's looking right now, it will probably be Green Bay for me. The wife is a fan, so why not make it a family fandom.
