what legit reason does anyone have to believe we will get anyone? i dont see us getting anyone.

or is this all pure wishfull thinking?

As a junior and senior you would think the kids would care more about going to a place where immediate playing time is readily available.

Also, I imagine a lot of schools out there are already at or very near the 85 scholarship limit.

Tennessee on the other hand, is nowhere near it.

Well if any fan of UT lives there he could make a sign saying UT has 10 schollies available for those wanting to transfer, just park in front of their complex! Who knows, it could work!:ermm:

What about Glenn Stanley? He was coming here before Kiffin and co snatched him away from us. The staff should have a good rapport with him.

Also I'm laughing that not only did Ambles get stuck in the airport in that snowstorm that weekend that he was toying around with us, but now this. lol

Just a though:

Wouldn't Kiffin want some non-starters to possibly leave for other schools? Wouldn't this allow him to free up Scholarships since he is losing some?

Maybe grab an underachieving jr. DT or two as back ups, don't want to upset team chemistry and "the plan" too much.

I dont think he had the class requirements necessary to get into an SEC school.

Combination of immediate playing time in the SEC and UT's occasional success recruiting the west coast.

IMHO, the real beneficiaries if there are any will be other Pac 10 schools. I don't see many of those upper classmen baling on USC.

PS- the Mustain drama is 100X anything BB has done or will do. I'd pass.

I think you guys are missing the point. There were some recruits looking at USC and UT but holding off on signing. This puts us in GREAT shape with them. The USC upperclassman are not going anywhere, and if they do it certainly won't be UT. Let's get some of the 2010 signees who haven't reported to school yet! Let's get some of the '11 potential USC guys... This is the time to make hay for recruiting YOUTH, not upperclassman. Face it, we are rebuilding for 2012 not 2010...
