Who do Titans go after in the draft??

Freeny cant stop the run. He is just a pass rusher. I would rather have a Kevin Carter clone who can do both. Plus Freeny will get crazy money.

Well if your looking for a big play WR that could return kicks as well, the how about Ted Ginn Jr. He should be available 1st round.

Tough, fast player who plays more for the big play than the fundamental play. Will be a 1st day pick, probably in the 2nd round of 2008's draft, but if he shows some growth in 2007 at ND, he could sneak into the 1st round.

I think Reggie Nelson is the best safety around. I'm not sure if he's big enough for the NFL, but I think he can bulk up a little without losing too much speed. I think he's only a junior, but if he comes out I'd take him ahead of any other safety.

Kick returners aren't usually a first round priority. Pac Man is as good a returner as you could ask for, anyway.

I agree. Nelson is good, but I think I like Landry better, and he's right with Griffin.

I forgot about Landry. He actually might be the best safety. I'm not so sure I'm sold on Michael Griffin just yet. I think Zibikowski is highly overrated, however. I can't believe he was named an All-American.

The Titans pick 19th this year so I'd say Nelson will be gone, just about every draft I've seen has had him as a top 10 pick......I've seen 2 or 3 with him going to the Falcons

I think we either need to get a CB or a WR.....Preferrably a WR, you can get a good CB late in the draft.....Same could be said for a WR but I think the Titans need to focus on getting Vince some more offensive help

Love to see it happen, but I think it would be a coup if Meachem moves into the middle of the 1st round.

What about that LSU guy? Who is the bets safety out there this year?

And maybe a WR...

If he runs a 4.2 or 4.3 as he claims, he will easily go in the mid 1st. Stallworth did the same thing. Run a great 40 time, and went in the mid 1st.

Did we have any first rounders last year? If not, how long has it been since UT a first rounder go decently high? Since Stallworth?

LaRon Landry is the safety from LSU... I could live with him or Nelson.

I don't really care which way they go in the draft, as long as they fill a need there and in free agency.

Heard on the radio just a few minutes ago on the Titans report that they are going to try and trade up and get a big DE and draft defensively the first 3 rounds and try to get some big time people on the offensive side of the ball through free agency.....So maybe that's what they're doing

Sounds good.

I wouldn't mind if they land Woodley from Michigan, assuming he's even projected a first rounder. That's the only DE popping in my head at the moment...

Draft Defense & Oline.
Wait for Roy Williams to become a FA or request a trade....it's bound to happen.

Roy Williams is just like LaMont Thompson. I big hitter, but sucks in pass coverage.

I think the Titans will go for a WR in the first. Most likely Ted Ginn. If not a WR they could look at Patrick Willis to replace Peter Sirmon

Stallworth was the fourth overall pick. That's really high for a WR. I'm not even sure Calvin Johnson will go that high.

Gaines Adams would be nice, but highly doubtful. That big DE from Arkansas projects high on some boards. Maybe we can find a freak through the combine(ie Mario Williams, Jevon Kearse).
