Who Has Their Carry A Concealed Weapon Permit?

I got a sweet deal on a Sig a few years back when I was living in Oak Ridge. The Sig Mauser M2 had just come out and a local pawn shop sold new guns. I checked and they didn't have one but would order it for me. I asked the price and was told $225. I had them order two knowing it should be going for much more. When I picked them up, she told me that yeah I got a Hell of a deal. But, they sold them to me for the agreed upon price. One in 40 cal and the other in 45 cal. Nice pieces but too bulky and heavy for me to carry with full clips.

I bought my gun through budsgunshop. Got a deal on it.

Thanks. I briefly looked at their website last night. Bookmarked it for future reference. Looks pretty straight forward. At first glance, you have to arrange with a local dealer to receive the weapon, right? Appears, on quick read, that they have to fax their permit before it is shipped. Saw some good prices on new and used.

That's correct. You need to have the store its being shipped to fax a copy of their FFL. It's all easy stuff. Usually the store you get it sent to will charge you a small fee for using their FFL($20-25 usually)

I carry a Ruger .380 too. I have a carry permit but I work as an EMT and I'm not supposed to carry on the ambulance and the .380 is so easily concealed.

I have a Sig 9mm for the house/travel. Sometimes carry it on my off days but it's rare. The .380 is just so convenient.

It is pretty sweet. You can't beat it for ease of carry. It is perhaps the most popular concealed carry pistol. I say that because I had a whale of a time finding one that they weren't trying to make a mint off of it. I finally found one for around $250, I think.

The only issue I have with it is the pitiful sights. I now have a laser sight mounted on the trigger guard. Much better now.

I carry a .380 Colt pony or a S&W. 380. I carry everyday without permit as i am not able to get one due to a recent DUI previous 7 years, $50 fine that is all.

FWIW unless they've changed the law recently you're eligible after 5y instead of 7y in TN.

They had a dealer in the area that they worked with before. He charged 25 but 15 was for a background check. I ordered my 9mm Wed night and it was here and available for pickup Fri morning. Buds had no tax and free shipping. Everything went smooth.

You don't watch enough SciFi dude...****t happens man! :)

(actually it's a hoot to shoot, though if you aren't a millionaire you need to reload to shoot it much)

Would like to shoot one. However, I saw on The Man Show that despite being smaller, a .44 Magnum has more 'kick'. The venting on the 500 muffled the recoil. The Man Show's test? They zeroed in on some busty women's breastezes while they shot both guns. Shure enough the .44 produced more jiggle. More bang for the buck so to speak.
