I'm under the impression any form of carry is, out side of your own property, without a permit.

How's the trigger on your Ruger? I have a friend who had one of the older P85's and I simply hated the trigger. Granted it might have just been an acclimation thing but it seemed like the trigger's travel lasted forever.
It does have a long trigger pull even after the hammer is cocked. Its is a very accurate pistol though and has little re-coil
I love the 1/4 trigger pull on my glock after the first shot is fired. You can really send on lead down range.
Well, crap. My TN carry permit expired several months ago. I was relying on it in case of being stopped here. Since I've been a resident for years here, I guess it's time to get the permit. Open carry is legal in Utah. Is the Tennessee permit still a carry permit. Didn't know if they changed it to conceal or just left it at carry.
Where is the best place around nashville to go to a carry class?
Ruger LCP. 380 small I know, but I do have some solid copper very hollow rounds. Pretty mean stuff.
Small enought to be mistaken as a wallet.
Home defense= 1911A model. 45 with Black Talons (bought pre-ban). AND
Remington 870 Express 12 guage minus the plug loaded with 00buck.

I carry a Ruger .380 too. I have a carry permit but I work as an EMT and I'm not supposed to carry on the ambulance and the .380 is so easily concealed.
I have a Sig 9mm for the house/travel. Sometimes carry it on my off days but it's rare. The .380 is just so convenient.
