Ever since this past Saturday I have been reading many posts and thinking this guy has no clue what he is talking about. So this led me on to think maybe he just never played the game and doesn't understand the full aspect of it. So who on here has played football? Please name if you played in highschool and/or college if it applies. Also state how long you played if you don't mind. In my honest opinion those who understand the game best are those who have played. But there are exceptions to this. And also feel free to boast about how good your team is/was.

So I'll start, I played in high school for all 4 years and I am currently playing at a D3 school in Kentucky.

How about the rest of you?

3 years middle school, 4 years high school and had small schools wanting me to play. Didn't think I wanted to mess up my knees knowing I would never go father at 5"11. Played in the Big 10 in the 90's and was All-Big 10 lineman 1st team and All North-East TN. Lineman Honorable Mention. Sorry for going on...Miss those days...:(

Thank you to all who played the game at a different level than most of us and who are generous enough to share your time with us. So cool!

Thats pretty cool to play golf in college; where do you play at?

And I commend the second poster its hard to stick with football when you are not seeing the field it is a lot of time and work I am sure your teammates appreciated that.

Finally all bow down to the pro bowler lol didn't expect one of those on this board.:worship:

Haha I wish. It hurts to watch it and realize that you will never have the feeling again. This game means so much to me.

played QB since I started playing at about 8 years old through my senior year in high school. my senior year I tore my ACL and MCL in the last regular season game before the playoffs and never fully recovered. before the injury I saw some scholarship offers from some small schools, but after it, I never heard anything. most depressing time of my life

I played the usual little league football.
Highschool:Started every year, defensive tackle then on to defensive end.Loved it when I was moved to DE.Quit during my senior year because I wouldn't kiss the head coaches azz.I could go in to detail, but I won't.Back then it never crossed my mind on trying to make this a career choice or try getting a scholarship, but now that I look back on it,I wish I would have applied myself better.

Holy crap. That's what I thought when I first saw that.

Hope you can get back to 100% soon.

Off subject.......Vikings defeat Green Bay. Brett Farve only QB in NFL history to beat all 32 teams.

Just heard that, thought it was cool.
