If you enjoy seeing Alabama steal Tennessee players like Barrett Jones and Dont'a Hightower, then feel free to root for the Tide.

We don't want the Tide to suck. We want Tennessee to be better. The only way we get our bling back is to win unwinnable games and force our way back in. A soft SEC doesn't help us.

Where is the "I'm watching purely out of sheer morbid curiosity" option?

I guess my closest choice is "no."

Nobody that is a true VFL is rooting for Alabama tonight. Repeat after me, BAMA WINNING DIRECTLY AFFECTS US IN A NEGATIVE WAY!!!! Rooting for them is worse than not supporting our coach, leaving before a game is over, saying woo after rocky top, or not showing up to a game at all. Rooting for Bama is the worst of the worst.

I live in the Chicago area and we have been bombarded with ND crap for the last 5 weeks. I f*****g hate ND. I don't like bama either, but I hope they hang half a hundred on them and shut them the f*** up.

I voted Bama but I admittedly half ass read the poll - I thought I was voting for who I thought would win. I hate both teams and since UT isn't playing, I'm not *pulling for* either. I would just like to see a good game.

Honestly, I hate Notre Dame and want to see their fan base cry. If that is me "rooting" for Alabama then so be it. If you labelled me a "non-vol" fan I don't think I could bare it.

The media is slanting towards Notre Dame to win. They love that loyalty towards the northern teams. However; Alabama's team is faster and has played a tougher schedule.

I see Alabama winning and Notre Dame being embarrassed.....

I don't see ND having a chance, but I also wish Bama didn't have a chance either. I can't pull for a team I don't claim as my own, so as a previous poster stated, Come On Meteorite!

Thats exactly how it is down here with Bama but it's been going on since they started winning again... the bandwagon down here is insanely huge, and getting bigger every minute

Sure am. I would pull for Charles Woodson to be hired as UT head coach before I pull for Notre Dame.

I also know a number of ND fans (some alums and some just bandwagon) and I tell them ND would have lost at least 2 games this year if they played in the SEC and they wouldn't even be in a BCS game, much less the title game. Screw ND. I can't stand that school or their fans. Roll Tide (and it pains me to say that). This is the lesser of two evils, unfortunately.

I disagree. I want them to lose every game they play for eternity . Then get the death sentence for paying players again. I hate them more then every team in the country combined. They do nothing but cheat, cheat, cheat, win a championship or three, get caught, stay clean for four or five years, then repeat.

For the people that are rooting for Notre Dame because you hate them let me put this in perspective. That is equal to hating the jerk that lives across the country instead of the jerk that not only lives next door but is also trying to have relations with your wife. I would rather hate on that jerk.

How about Tennessee hire a coach that's worth a **** and able to keep the top talent in the state. Your kind of thinking is the equivalent of wanting to move conferences because the SEC is too hard.
