Whoever ends up champs in 2014 going forward is going to have to be a hell of a team and for some teams the odds are going to get even tougher. Voters can effectively force whoever they want to lose to play a national title game twice. More so than whoever is ranked #1 to begin with.

Hating Bama is not a reason to move to the ACC. Rooting for them in some way to rationalize our suckage is just weak in my opinion. I hope Bama loses every game. They just won't comply with my hopes and wishes. i would probably break out a little SEC pride for Ole Miss, Mississippi State and some of the other schools but there is no way I can pull for Bama or Florida. I really don't think who I root for will matter since Bama will probably win comfortably.

The one area Butch has a lot of inroads and potential for recruiting success is in Cincinnati. It's also a popular spot for Notre Dame. Think it would be that much harder for Butch there if Brian Kelly comes to town w a NC ring

You think Butch Jones has a fence around Cincinatti? Notre Dame and Ohio State got pretty much who they wanted from there while he was at Cincinatti. We may pull a couple of recruits from there but counting on beating out Ohio State and Notre Dame in the midwest is not a very good recruiting strategy. Virginia, Georgia and the Carolinas are where we need to look to offset Bama's advantages.

I don't like either, but I don't root for our enemies so pulling for the Gumps are out. There is no way in HELL most of their fans would pull for the Vols.

Give me a break Mr. Sensitive. It is not like it is an official ND shirt. Bama fans came out with a Pedophiles vs. Protestants shirt even though Saban is a Catholic himself. Neither are in good taste, but it's just 2 passionate fan bases with some serious trash talking.

Even though I predicted Florida to beat Louisville, I was glad to see the Gators get beat. Otherwise, I'm SEC all the way! GO BAMA!

If Bama wins it makes us better. We should see that happen in recruiting tomorrow. Go SEC. He cannot get them all and since Bama won the remaining will be beating down our doors.

Weird then that Alabama has been dominant over the past several years, while we have been the worst we have ever been. Don't see how their wins have helped us at all.
