Because I'm on the internet?

You left out the mundane nature of the anecdotal evidence that you're dismissing. Hell, given the nature of the examples, what difference does it make if they're true. We all know they happen and that those involved aren't idiots or drunks. It just doesn't fit your earlier statements.

Depends on what you're talking about. The guy that died from liver disease just over two months after his doctor told him he was perfectly healthy. I'm supposed to take for fact? That A) any of it's true B) He died because of alcohol abuse C) He only drank 2-3 beers a day D) His doctor old him everything was peachy D) He was leading a perfectly healthy lifestyle aside from the alcohol etc. etc.

That is worthless anecdotal evidence in my opinion. Especially coming from someone on the internet that you nor I know from adam. \

The other anecdotal evidence of the lady driving after 3 beers 150 yards and getting a DUI. A)She only had 3 beers? You know to be fact? B) She only drove 150 yards

However in this case you are right, I don't need it to be completely true because she's an idiot as the "story" was told.

anecdotal evidence: Evidence in the form of an anecdote or hearsay is called anecdotal if there is doubt about its veracity; the evidence itself is considered untrustworthy.

Not exactly the real world.

The irony of you educating the rest of us on things that you don't even know much about is thick.
