Who is the better Manning?

Better situation? A place where Tiki Barber and friends make fun of you to the media? A place where your head coach even after winning the superbowl is on the hotseat in week 8 of the regular season? He never had a Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, Dallas Clark combo.

I think the point is that New York is a better franchise.

In the 20 years before Peyton, the Colts had 0 SB's and only 3 playoff berths. In the 20 years before Eli, the Giants had 2 SB's and 9 playoff berths.

The Colts lost in Super Bowl 3 and won Super Bowl five. Before the Super Bowl existed, they won NFL championships.

No, it's not a better franchise. In fact, it could be argued quite easily that the Colts have been a much better franchise.

The Baltimore Colts are not the Indianapolis Colts. Sorry. Don't agree? I guarantee you if we ask around, 90% would say they'd rather own the Giants.

I think that Peyton is better. Eli is clutch as he**, but Peyton is the better QB. Just because Eli has more super bowl wins does not make him better.

That's ancient history, form the Baltimore Colts era. Things got so bad for the franchise they literally had to pack up and leave in the middle of the night for Indy. And it's not like the Giants didn't win NFL championships in the pre-Super Bowl era, either. They sucked big time in the 60s and 70s, but other than that, they were always a top franchise.
