Which makes me lean Putin, knowing he could do it and easily cast blame on Biden's big mouth.
I can't see Russia doing it because that removes any future revenues and present leverage they have. With the pipelines down, now they have no leverage that can be used later.

But it doesn't matter, the western countries will be leading the investigation and arrive at the conclusion that Russia did it, just like MH-17 investigation, so it doesn't matter anyway because Russia is the bad guy/boogeyman.

That is the reason why I don't think they did it because they know they will be the top 2 suspects

In any other circumstance, I would have said ecoterrorists..

Just that whole thing of getting down to the pipeline. Anyways...

Yes, I wouldn't put it past our war mongers to stage such an attack with the approval of whomever is pulling Biden's strings.

Pipelines sure have been an issue the last 15 years...as well as Ukraine..Stinks.
Especially for something we seem to be moving away from..seems like leverage on energy and somebody is gonna make a bundle..if the world survives

Maybe Putin did it to drum up support at home and to convince his people that now he’s fully justified to use nukes? This is a bad situation regardless of who did it.

I agree, and I really don’t feel good about the people we have in charge here re: diplomacy (though that was supposed to be their wheelhouse) wrong.

Has anyone ever seen John Bolton and @Rasputin_Vol in the same room at the same time?

Blasts precede Baltic pipeline leaks, sabotage seen likely

The escaped natural gas is made up almost entirely of methane — the second biggest contributor to climate change after carbon dioxide. David Hastings, a retired chemical oceanographer in Gainesville, Florida, said much of the gas would rise through the sea and enter the atmosphere. “There is no question that the largest environmental impact of this is to the climate, because methane is a really potent greenhouse gas,” he said.

According to United Nations data, methane is 82.5 times worse for the climate than carbon dioxide over a 20-year period, because it so effectively absorbs the heat of the sun.
Wouldn't that cool the earth?

Really? Compare me to John Bolton? That doesn't even make sense. Bolton is a stone cold killer itching to use war as a tool to solve anything. I'm more on the side of diplomacy.

Lighten up, Francis. It's just Weez being Weez.

Using tactical nukes has been a part of Russia's strategy since the time Putin was moonlighting as a taxi cab driver. The policy dealing with those weapons aren't going to change.

Russia could and has turned off the other end anytime they wanted. I'm confused as to what these people are talking about.

And at this point it doesn't matter... its all fair game at this point.... oil/gas pipelines, satellites, undeasea communication cables, offshore wind farms, etc.

Or more like Potato Joe did what he said would be done. LoL This isn't complex, if you say you are going to murder someone on TV and that person is found murdered... who you do think did it?

But if that’s the case, it’s going to burn bridges with our European partners and give Putin a legit reason to launch a strike against us. It only serves to cause war on a broader scale.

The Europeans have no choice meaning to build alliances with Russia anytime soon as they now NEED the United States.

The United States did what they said they were going to do before fighting even broke out. LoL

Europeans have no choice but to beg the United States now, sovereign my ass.

Stop the ********, Potato Joe said he would, "put an end to Nord Stream II". Exactly who the **** does the United States think it is telling other countries what to do?

While that is true, someone just destroyed Russia’s massive source of revenue in a way that can be perceived as an act of war. If Putin is as crazy as he is being reported right now, what’s to keep him from launching nukes now?

Well, one does not mess with a crazy person with nuclear weapons. That's purely suicidal. So, no... nobody thinks he's crazy, he seems to act pretty straight forward to me.

None of this was ever the America's business.

You gotta understand that if the US wanted this done, it will be through a proxy. So technically, the UK or maybe Poland could have done this to hide America's dirty hands. I'm still of the opinion that the UK was involved and likely the ringleader.

The pipeline is only 300-400 feet deep so getting an explosive device down there and detonating it wouldn't be that difficult of a task. Heck, even Russia has the capability to do that.
