Who wins the east this year. Rank em!

I'm going with Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, Florida, Vandy, Kentucky. I'm projecting us to win four games in the East Missouri, Florida, Vandy, and Kentucky.

Its hard to pick Georgia because they have a Phillip Fulmer walking the sidelines. Underachievers with the talent they bring in. Do less with more. Has to have vastly superior talent to overcome coaching ineptness.

The key is qb.. If riley ferguson is very good, i predict good chances against florida, south carolina, mississippi:
South carolina
missouri
georgia
tennessee
florida
vanderbilt
kentucky

if qb not resolved like last year, will be same as this year except they should beat vandy
and kentucky and lose big games , i.e. Georgia, florida, south carolina, alabama, oklahoma......

Georgia should be really good.
I wouldn't be surprised if Florida has a big bounce back year.
South Carolina should be decent.
Couldn't really say what we will look like. I think we should win 6 or 7 games, but if we don't look a lot better than we did this past year, it's going to be really ugly.

We should be solid on O. Hopefully the football gods won't decimate us two seasons in-a-row with multiple key injuries. We'll have a stable of RB's for sure. Hope we can keep them all at UGA.
I'm excited about Pruitt on the D side. We've had very good athletes on that side of the ball, but Grantham always seemed to have them out of place.

If Mizzou finishes as high as many of you predict then you should swear off EVER using recruiting rankings as a means of assessing the talent level of ANY team. And... you should also NEVER try to make the claim that the SEC is "better" than the Big 12.

The east is still down The Gators and The Vols are at least 2 season away , maybe 3 .
Miss has been a bit on lady lucks side . with the east being down. 2014 they will see a difference and will not be 11-0 for their last game . More like 7-4
Steve has his team close ,.
1 SC
2 Ga
3 Vandy
4 Vols 3 and 4 can be a switch
5 Gators
The vols and gators are close but a few players away

Miss & Kentucky tied for the bottom
6

As someone so wisely stated on here already, how can USCleast lose their best player on offense AND defense and be close? Their backup QB isn't in the ballpark of Shaw who for my money was the most underrated QB in the game last year. Too big of a drop off for them there. Mizzou won't have the same issue with Maty Mauk having a few games under his belt to work from.

Saw this on tos
1. USC- returning 15
2. UGA- returning 16
3. Mizzou- returning10
4. Fla- returning 16
5. Vandy- returning 12
6. Kent.-returning 16
7. Tenn. returning 11

My prediction
1. USC
2. Mizzou
3. UGA
4. VOLS
5. FLA
6. Vandy
7. Kent.

Not necessarily a bas thing we are only returning 11

UGA probably has the most stable returning talent.

USCe lost some big pieces but returns some very good players. The problem with picking them to win it is pretty simple though. In 2013, their west opponents were MSU and Ark. Both weak teams. This fall: Auburn who will be stout and TAM. Their lack of depth will finally hurt them like it has hurt UT for the past several years.

Mizzou lost most of their best playmakers on both sides of the ball. When you depend on "diamonds in the rough" and "projects" as much as they do, you don't exactly "re-load". I think they'll drop.

UF has talent but also has Muschamp. They'll likely be better but who really knows.

Vandy and UK will struggle.

Bottom line IMHO is that any team in the East could win the East. I think UT's chances depend on how good Ole Miss is this fall. Every team in the East is beatable if the coaching improves and young players come along quickly.

There is a disconnect in your logic regarding Mizzou. They bring the fewest players back and are highly dependent on project players and overachievers. They are not a team that "reloads".
