UT claimed NC's: '38, '40, '50, '51, '67, '98
UT unclaimed NC's: '14, '27, '28, '31, '39, '56, '85, '89
Bammer claimed NC's: '25, '26, '30, '34, '41, '61, '64, '65, '73, '78, '79, '92, '09, '11, '12
Bammer unclaimed: '45, '66, '75, '77
What a joke.
Where are you getting these numbers? Wikipedia? Bleacher Report? You posted only the nationally published selectors Bama doesn't claim, but then posted a bunch of random local selectors for UT. UT only has one nationally published selector that they do not claim: '56. Every other one you listed did not come from a legitimate selector.
I'm always amazed that vol fans belittle Alabama. As ut has played and won more games vs Alabama than anybody, the better Alabama looks, the better ut looks.
Sure, ut is down now and Alabama is up, but it always cycles around. From 1938-1960 Alabama beat ut 5 times. Fulmer was 11-5. Have faith and be gracious.

In other news.....
Since you are a wise ol vol you can figure this out. F B U A C M K A. Please group the odd numbered letters together and the then group the even numbered letters together. That is as gracious as I care to be.
No, actually 77 was a ripoff for Alabama. They lost to ranked Nebraska in week 2, ND lost to a bad ole miss team in week 2. Going into the bowls, Alabama was #2, ND #4. Both won blowouts. ND jumped the tide in both polls.
Not bogus. Bowls didn't count until the 70s. Ut lost at ucla week 1 then ran the table. USC lost in November to Oregon state. USC beat ucla 2 weeks later. The NC could have gone either way. If usc's schedule had ucla and Oregon state reversed, ut is NC.
Don't forget that ut doesn't claim 1939, in which we went undefeated, untied and unscored upon.
