Oh yes, the troubles associated with recruiting to UF. He is a superstar. Just look at their drop off in talent since he left.
Did there, I see what you did.
The fact that you're not even waiting to give the guy a signing class to prove himself, let alone a season, is pretty indicative.
Gave those to Dooley. How did that work out?
Dude its the only SEC school in a talent rich state, pretty easy recruting imo.
Sorry if I offended you. Is it a racist comment?
Clever response.
Too bad, I know for a fact that you were anti-Dooley far earlier than three years -- as was I.
My point is not whether he should be fired -- none of us have control over that -- but whether one should be labeling him a "bad coach" before he even signs his name on the contract.
That's a pretty flippant and reckless mindset. I made up my mind on Dooley after 13 men on the field. I genuinely hope you would give UT's new coach a chance to at least sign his first class before waving a wide brush.
I never said he was a bad coach, but my guess is he will be about the middle of the pack in the SEC. I think that will hold true in recruiting and on the field. I see nothing to indicate he can comepete with the established big boys of the SEC. I just wish people would be honest and say they hope he is good, just like I hope he is good if he is our coach. Yet, to this point I have not seen any evidence to it.
You didn't offend me, but nice try. I just find it interesting that you make backhanded comments , without having the guts to come out and say what you really mean.
I'm guessing you didn't make the comment "The Obama Effect" in relation to Strong's opinion on Macroeconomics. I think your mindset was more along the lines of "Some of you guys like Strong because he's black. Just like how some voters liked Obama."
If I'm wrong, I'd love to hear what you meant.
If you're implying that I'm bitter about this hire you are wrong. I love this hire because I think he's a good coach. Check my post from earlier about Strong. If you deny the fact that Strong being black won't affect recruiting I believe you're wrong.

Fair enough. I can respect that. I just think he has enough of a pedigree that, even if you don't agree with the hire, he at least has earned a shot to complete his first class, before some judge his actual tenure.

Didn't know I knew you. Either that or you got that ESP thing going on to know what I was thinking when. LOLClever response.
