He thought he would be handed the starting QB position after spring ball. after having a bad game he hits the road he must have thought Worley and Dobbs was better, so we don't need somebody that does not wont to compete.

Exactly...with more maturity and preparation, Bray's potential was unreal. It was painful watching Gruden rip him on ESPN prior to the draft, because Bray had no clue about the film they were studying.

But, it's hard to say he was a bad QB because we didn't win more games. When you score 35 pts per game, and still lose, you can't say the QB and offense didn't do their job.

It seems that the finger gets pointed at Bray for much of the teams failures, due to what most see as him taking his ability for granted and not maximizing it, him acting like a brat, and some of the bonehead decisions he made ( both on field and of ). Bray and our offense were a nightmare for opposing DC's, while our defense was a blessing to opposing OC's.

I'm in no way defending Bray's character and/or decision making, and I'm not saying he's better or worse than Clausen. It just seems there is plenty of blame to go around for the lack luster performance of our Vols during the past few seasons.

Bray was the best QB we have had since peyton/ tee . No one has put up as many yards will such a poor running game. He also was doing it with a defense that couldn't get the ball back. Show me another QB since Peyton with better numbers

Too bad the idiot would not have been eligible.. He would have 100 percent quit on that team last year. Let's not forget he had NFL talent all over the field.. How is all that talent treating him these days?
