I’m thinking one of my speed ball paint ball guns loaded with frozen paint balls might be a handy thing to have around if I ever need to go to a location where these dip****s are hanging out.

Because where most people live your right to defend yourself ends with the threat to your person. If you go beyond defenses you should be prosecuted.

Depends on the circumstances. For all I know he screamed out some pro KKK comment and hit a peaceful protestor in the head with a rock.

I have no idea what happened. This is the danger of relying on video, which is coming to you from a source that exists for the purpose of promoting outrage.

So if he screamed some kkk stuff and hit someone with a rock. Are the others in the mob allowed to attack him and beat him as he fleas or are they now the attackers?

Regardless of what happened before the video it’s clear the old man was totally defensive and those attacking him should be arrested. If he assaulted someone beforehand he too should be arrested. The violence has to be stopped and the only way for that to happen is the Fing police to do their job.

I would think a lawyer would understand that

I am concerned that there may be episodes where right wing antagonizers meet up with these protests. One films. One provokes, perhaps even physically. Then we are shown only partial video, to give the false impression that the defenseless and blameless man was simply attacked.

I'm not saying that happened here. I have no idea. But we've seen such tactics by the right before, see e.g, the doctored abortion videos. And isn't it odd that someone just happens to be there videoing and that video just happens to pop up on right wing websites.

Could it have been a set up..I see your point, but Antifa always shows up armed with weapons. Even if the old guy said something, still no right to gang beat him. If he assaulted first, still no right to gang beat him. Hold him for the cops. He!!, take him to the cops.

This is mob violence using brutality and intimidation tactics. They even promote it online as their modus operandi.
