Why isn’t Heupel getting a chance to plead his case?

We are the best 2 loss team in the country…..and most outlets have us ranked ahead of Bama….yet here Saban is on national television getting the opportunity to plead his case for the college playoff.!?

I just said the same thing and texted my brother who is an Ohio St fan. He asked if our AD has made any comments today or tonight about the Vols. I don’t log onto Twitter, so I can’t answer that question. But hopefully someone for TN is hitting the airwaves and press. He agreed that TN should be ranked over Bama. While TCU should stay in top four, Bama and a o are making a push to influence the committee.

We beat Bama and stomped LSU @ LSU. LSU lost to UGA by 20. LSU beat Bama. So does that make the Bama lost worst to LSU since LSU has four losses and lost by 20 to by UGA?

Nickie is complaining that his team was injured Vs TN and LSU. Everyone has hurt players. Well, Tilman was injured most of the yr but tried playing injured Vs GA and USCjr. Plus our best defensive player didn’t play Vs USCjr. But Heup never complained like Sabin has been doing on national TV and radio.

Anyway, it’s all BS and hopefully Bama stays home, and it all end up being a moot point. But if Bama gets in, then the clad of orange have a rt to be upset. I know I will be!

I just hope Danny White or Heup make some noise to defend our boys, regardless of the USC jr game. I’m tired of seeing TN get on. Same for Hooker. I haven’t heard his name mentioned one time today for New York.

I really don't understand UT fans who insist that Alabama has a better resume than us. Apparently we've been beaten down for way too long. We wouldn't have shown such self-disrespect 20 years ago.

I understand being a realist, but I don't think many UT fans are actually arguing the Vols should be in the playoffs. I think most UT fans are simply arguing that the Vols should be there before Alabama is. And they aren't wrong.

Look at our schedule. They've won 3 in a row. If anything, they're Bama and they've owned the National Championship conversation for over a decade. It is what it is, they got hot and healthy at the right time.
