Because there's no case to be made by either bama or UT. Both had their chances and don't deserve to be put ahead of a one loss team like TCU. As for being the best 2 loss team in the country, maybe we were before Hooker got hurt, but we're a shell of that team especially if guys like Tillman, Hyatt and Banks sit. Regardless, we'll have a chance to prove that when we face Clemson. Sure looks like they found their qb yesterday. So if we're going to claim that designation, let's see the team go out and take it. We have another chance to make a statement. Hope it's a better statement than uga and scjr.

It’s a bad look for Saban, plain and simple. He sees that his program is in decline and is trying to weasel his way into the playoffs based on their years of dominance, not this years body of work. Like it’s a birthright or something.

It’s a sad pathetic look for him. Bring the pinnacle team of college football for years to now be begging and pleading to be “let” into the playoff during halftime at some of these games should be embarrassing to that program. At least we know he can retire and become a used car salesmen soon

You speak 100% truth. Some Vols fans are in denial about how much of a difference having HH under center made. We are a completely different team with Milton starting. It's not a knock on Milton's ability, but HH made better decisions with the ball and gained positive yards a majority of the time.

If Josh the Hoopla will come clean on the SC week I will be a totally bias fan and back the VOLS every loss as the deserved National Champions of the teams who lost to SC.

Even with OJ starting and JB back in his unregistered vehicle in the Chik-Fila Pruitt drive through.

It is one thing to ask fans to deal with the GA stomping...I can handle that as they were the true #1 and we were in an unfriendly and raucous Athens, GA.

I will never accept the SC loss without an reasonable and truthfull explanation from CJH.

So if he pleads his case it better include a believable explanation of the SC week that involves the team's attitude as it relates to JB's absence.

They said it was a team decision but was it a reluctant one to keep JB at home?

Thank you. 63-38. We should be super happy, more curious about our next OC, our next opponent which I'm hearing is likely Clemson (I mean Dabo wanted this if nothing else), and whether not the guy we have all rooted for can handle QB.

It will come out eventually but your support is based on immature response to a situation none of us know. CJH & staff gave an explanation as far as I am concerned but you have to have the details. Sorry.

Evidently Banks did something that warranted his suspension so live with it. It evidently was a selfish move on his part and not a player that put the team first which is Banks' MO.
