As a guitar guy, I would think you might like Umphrey's McGee. I'm also surprised I don't see Tedeschi Trucks.

I like their music. I definitely miss the regionality from rock, they definitely have the more southern edge to modern rock that I appreciate.

When you posted they were going to be there, I would have liked to have gone, but had a river camping trip with grandsons planned.

I've found a group I listen to a fair amount now: Leonid and Friends.

A bunch of Russians with soul. I kid you not, they absolutely rock on EWF's Fantasy and Boogie Wonderland. And the main female singer, Ksenia Buzina is an absolutely lovely specimen of the female of the species. Listen to her cover of the Carpenter's Superstar.

yeah, I would swear that was straight 70s soul listening to them.

different vibe, but there is a Swiss group, Kadebostany, that is almost an EDM/rock/rb mix. kinda hard to put a finger on what exactly they are, some songs are way different than the rest. but they have some parts of songs that just absolutely slay. If I don't know what I am in the mood for I generally put them on.

These guys are great. They also seem like nice people. Met all of them a couple years ago first time they played the Bijou. They put on a good show with character.

I like Goose and saw 8 or 9 shows. I don't put them on much any more. Great music but they haven't done much new the last few years and gets a little old.


Eggy is a good newer band.
Daniel Donato is a hell of a player.
Disco Biscuits live shows are so good now days.
Lotus and Sunsquabi are fun bands.
String Cheese shows are still excellent.
Widespread has a new album that's pretty good.
My Morning Jacket still rocks.

I’ve watched several of their videos over the years…. They’re pretty good. I think they came to Nashville or are coming to TPAC… can’t recall
