Fortaleza is nice. I can't speak on the other two. Florianopolis is next on our agenda. We'll try and squeeze in Bahia for Carnival coming up. I miss my Brasil. Back on topic, I'm not sure there's enough cachaca I could drink to help me believe that Oklahoma won't stomp us on Saturday night.

Auburn and Miami were wins during the 1985 season. Tennessee had an SEC championship season.

In 1991, Tennessee was ranked #13 going to Notre Dame.

At least pick an upset that can somewhat compare to the circumstances occurring this Saturday.

If we win it will be a Defensive win. They come out and take it to Okl with everything they have, play 4 quarters of never give up football and we can win. Of course Worley will need to put some points on the board.

I agree with op, I just don't see this UT team losing to a team like OU, those days are over.

This. While technically the games listed were indeed upsets (as was the "Drain the Swamp" win in '01) those were some pretty damn good TN squads. THIS UT team is more than a little short of those UT squads.

Actually it's for this very reason a win Saturday for UT would, as far as pure upsets go, trump all those listed.

Nobody thought an unranked Virginia Tech would beat the then #8 Ohio State last week, but it happened. Why just expect our Vols to lose this week? People still see team 118 as team 115, 116, and 117.... and they aren't! They're 118, and have just a good of a chance at beating a ranked opponent as any other unranked team...

And don't worry, even if we do end up getting beat this week. 118 will still be in Knoxville on 10-4, eating on some gator.
