Why do you not use your time outs wisely? What are you saving them for?
There were two key points late in that second half where a time out should have been called to get a play for a good shot. You know, make sure you have the right match-up, and everyone is on the same page. I don't get it, man.


And before anyone jumps on me, I'm definitely not hating on the man. I've gave him a lot of praise this last week, and love him as a coach. It's one of the things that he consistently does that bugs the sh!t out of me/I am critical of him for that I wish he would fix.

Barnes is an all time great coach imo. The best we have ever had. But getting owned and swept bu Mark Pope is embarrassing beyond means.

Defenseball is a thing of the PAST! The game has seriously passed him by. College ball is NOT played that way any longer. If you dont have MUTLIPLE scorers... youre toast. We are one game over .500 in the SEC. Why? Because the best teams score. Id rather be tops in scoring and last in defense.

Barnes is a good...not great coach. A great coach has at least a couple final 4's...(excluding unsung div 2 coaches.) This team ain't making a final 4. It inevitably hits the "Barnes Wall." Not a bad coach by any means and good enough to keep us relevant...but not "great" enough to go all the way.

I just hate the fact we single-handedly saved their season. We win those two games and they aren't even in the top 25. Winning this one would have really hurt them. As bad as we played most of the game it It was right there for the taking.
We had a 3 point lead and then peed it away as fast as we possibly could. We have to have more situational awareness than that.
When we took the lead back 60-58 with just 4 something to go we should have took a TO and stressed how important not giving up a 3 at that point is. If nothing else take one after Koby Brea hit that shot in Mashack's eye.
Let the guys get an extra blow before the t.v timeout and get a quality shot/set. Instead, we came down and just turned it over after a big shot like that. Inexcusable in my eyes.

ZZ looked like he had no idea what play he was supposed to be running on a few key drives after that, too. Get a TO and give him some instructions.

They can pretend they have discovered how to play defense all of a sudden all they want but they haven't turned the corner there anymore then we have on offense. We just shot really bad again. It wasn't their defense necessarily, we just tend to do that sometimes. When one of us isn't hitting it seems non of us are.
