Why, Rick Barnes?

Defenseball is a thing of the PAST! The game has seriously passed him by. College ball is NOT played that way any longer. If you dont have MUTLIPLE scorers... youre toast. We are one game over .500 in the SEC. Why? Because the best teams score. Id rather be tops in scoring and last in defense.
We are two games over .500 at 7-5

“None of us”? Hey bro. I believe the Vols did have one guy tonight that was 3-4 from 3. You knew I had to jump in and defend my boy, didn’t you? 😂
Yet he passed on at least 3-4 open looks from 3? He’s been hot since the flu yet remains somewhat hesitant? Unless Chaz is filling it up, Igor gets the best looks from 3 and we need him to take them.

I just hate the fact we single-handedly saved their season. We win those two games and they aren't even in the top 25. Winning this one would have really hurt them. As bad as we played most of the game it It was right there for the taking.
We had a 3 point lead and then peed it away as fast as we possibly could. We have to have more situational awareness than that.
When we took the lead back 60-58 with just 4 something to go we should have took a TO and stressed how important not giving up a 3 at that point is. If nothing else take one after Koby Brea hit that shot in Mashack's eye.
Let the guys get an extra blow before the t.v timeout and get a quality shot/set. Instead, we came down and just turned it over after a big shot like that. Inexcusable in my eyes.

ZZ looked like he had no idea what play he was supposed to be running on a few key drives after that, too. Get a TO and give him some instructions.
Both games were for the taking.

Owned by a first year head coach most of us laughed at when they hired him. Sad.
He is not a first year head coach. First year at UK, but he's an experienced coach.

And the reason we laughed at them is because they fired an all time great coach and had to settle for Pope after all of their top options turned them down. They thought their brand was gonna give them the ability to be able to pull any coach they wanted and it back fired tremendously.

Don’t blame Barnes because no one on the team could hit a shot. Lanier completely disappeared again. Lack of depth also killed us again. Wish we had 2 random freshmen that could come in and hit more threes combined than our whole team hit, like UK has.

Mark Pope sure coached them to hit 3 pointers! Why didn’t Rick Barnes tell his guys to make the ball go into the basket? Stupid Rick Barnes!

No blame on RB for letting UK getting continously open 3 attempts......twice now? I like RB, but the Head coach isn't blameless

Depends, is it the scheme or the execution in this instance? Kentucky was held to 11 points below average in scoring, and they were at home, so to me that indicates overall defensive scheme for the game worked.

Ok. Point taken. Does tonights offensive performance count as a stinker? If so, thats 3 of those losses because we couldnt score with any consistancy. UK twice and UF once.
3 times out of 25 games - that’s 12%. So we play well on offense 9 out of every 10 games to go with the #1 defense in the country. That’s national title contender territory. I’ll take that all day long.

No one said the head coach is blameless. Broad stroke strawmen don't further a point,

If you think those Brea 3's were "wide open," I don't know what to tell you. Yes, Kentucky had a few that were open. They hit them. Tennessee had a few that were open. Tennessee missed them. That was the difference in the game.

Kentucky was more accurate on difficult 3s than Tennessee was on open 3s. Great coaching, Mark Pope!
