We nearly beat them with Dooley. We have a chance to beat Fla @Swamppuddle. We can compete with anyone in the nation I believe. Our roster is full of talent that just needs coaching. Butch reminds me of a young Les Miles. He brings an intense passion to the game and knows how to generate excitement. He is a charismatic recruiter. I already greatly admire him and believe he will be the most successful coach since Phabulous Phil. I believe we will beat Uga and bammer in 13! If not,I know we will in 14! We are back, and I`m so anxious for the Fall I can`t stand it. We will finally have man football back on Rocky Top! Butchball! Go Vols! I believe we beat Oregon. Our new D will shut down the vaunted quack-attack. We are still a SEC POWERHOUSE! No ooc school will beat us! We would`ve beat ND the 1st game last year! We have t4he talent. We just need coaching and motivation. We have that in CBJ. GO VOLS!

The realistic goal for this season will be 6-6 with a bowl appearance. I think that should be minimum. 7-5 would be impressive and anything above that and we name a street after CBJ!

A new coaching staff+new terminology+different themes on teaching technique in practice+different defensive philosophies= a new defense IMO.

Wilcox is considered multiple in his scheme and able to adapt to his personnel. That's why we saw more zone a cover 2 type defense his time here.

Jancek is more of a pursue and swarm guy who preaches turnovers. I expect the defense to be more aggressive than it was under Wilcox.

Whether that is good or bad depends on how much of the problem last year was a pure lack of speed in the secondary and how much was slow reaction time due to whatever the hell Sunseri was trying to coach them to do last season.

This defense can't possibly be worse than last year but there will be mistakes made.

Fair enough but I wouldn't say gang tackling and pursuing is a philosophy....that's more of an effort thing....I'll take teaching someone to swarm to the ball in a scheme they know over teaching a whole new scheme where everyone has a different role than what they used to

ive only been on the board a few months but most of the time 99gator has been pretty reasonable from what i can tell....sometimes his words seem to come out a little different than what he means but he has his opinions like each of us have our own

I see so much negativity on here,it is sickening. Why? We have gotten rid of the most asinine coach in UT history. We have hired a proven winner that is passionate about Tennessee. We return virtually our entire team except Bray,CP,and Hunter. We have a coach that knows how to utilize the talent we have. We have a LOT of talent. We are going to have more after NSD. Do yall not remember the turnarounds when we hired Cutcliffe back after 05 and when we hired Kiffin in 09? COACHES MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD! I honestly believe we`ll win 10 games next season. We will have the best offensive line in the nation. We have 2 RBs that will have progressed tremendously under Graham`s tutelage. We have a load of talent at the WR position,although it lacks experience. We have 3 QBs who will compete for the starting job. I believe Worley and Peterman will turn out to be great QBs. We are switching back to the 4-3 and our D personnel will greatly benefit from this. We are going to have an awesome D and running game for sure. That`s what wins championships. We have an outstanding,brilliant,and extremely hard-working coach now. We are on the rise. We will surprise the entire nation this fall. I say we`ll go 10-3. I`m very optimistic. Will yall tell me why yall are optimistic or a negateer? GO VOLS!
