Nico showed some great stuff in the second half. Consistency is key, I’m looking forward to watching him get it all together for a full game.

I'm not hating on Nico but I did just think of the nickname Nico Overthrowiava and I laughed so I thought I'd post it.

He made some plays tonight and is maturing game to game. He still hasn't had a break out performance against a big time SEC opponent but he's playing well enough for us to win so hats off to that. Hopefully he'll get more confidence and start hitting those few overthrows he's had the past few games.

Just say you don’t know ball. Nico’s throws down the stretch kept us in and helped us win this game.

This insecure need to tear a man down after a win, after his struggles that is he is clearly pushing to overcome shows nothing but a lack of character and lack of football awareness on your behalf.

You’re embarrassing. Do better.
Here's what I know about ball. Coach Huepel could have gone for it on 4th down to secure this victory with his offense which he does from his own freaking 15 yard line but he didn't trust his QB when it matters most. He trusted his defense when the metal hit the meat and the defense did not disappoint him. So you can stop trying to tear me down because I'm confident and secure I know what I just saw Josh Heupel do.

I stand by my word that for the 2nd week in a row our defense refused to lose and I personally love it!

This team is run by the defense! I'm so proud of them! A walk-on player shows up the 8 million dollar man and I f@cking love it. That's a hungry young man who just saved the season from our disaster of a QB hire.

Also Dylan Sampson is a demi-god and I'm drunk as a skunk 😂

Dumb OP is really dumb

Coach Heupel also could have worn a green shirt instead of an orange. It doesn’t matter what he did. What matters is he made it a full one score game and his decision making lead to a win. GO VOLS.

Also you say you know ball then spout a bunch of hypothetical second guessing as “proof” the entire board is telling you one thing yet you are to stubborn to realize you’ve made a post with ill judgment. Brother I wouldn’t let you coach a pee-wee flag football team.

NIco has some work to do, but he came through when it counted.

Mr. Brooks, and the rest of our outstanding defense, certainly did their part as well.

We still have not allowed more than 20 points in a game this year. Hats off to Mr. Banks.

People don't understand that it's not often a QB just steps in and lights it up their 1st year. Hooker at VT wasn't spectacular. His 2nd year at UT, he's insanely good. Burrow in 2018 was pretty mediocre at LSU. 2019 he's damn near unstoppable. There's a lot that goes into it from the people around you to your own growth as a QB and it all has to work together.

This may be one of top 20 illogical threads I have seen in all my time on this board. I have been on VN since way back when it was very young.
