He made some plays tonight and is maturing game to game. He still hasn't had a break out performance against a big time SEC opponent but he's playing well enough for us to win so hats off to that. Hopefully he'll get more confidence and start hitting those few overthrows he's had the past few games.

Poor first half by Nico and the offense yes. But Nico made some high level throws in the second half and they don’t win if he doesn’t hit those. If you can’t recognize that, you lose all credibility.

I’ve been critical of Nico. Having said that, I gained a good deal of respect for him tonight for two reasons: 1) played poor up till the injury and while the pressure was at its highest he could’ve easily used the injury as a crutch but he didn’t. He sacked up and went back in 2)after all the misses he could’ve hung his head, moped, pissed his pants and sorta quit but he kept slinging it and never shrunk in the game. You can’t coach that is my point.
