So you don't have a citation, just insults and make believe? Figured as much.
Strange that you know so much about Malzahn's thinking and motivations but yet don't have any proof.
Let's just say that you were an assistant manager at a company for several years, and as the assistant manager, you interviewed, hired, and trained all of the staff. One day, because you are all ambitious and whatnot, you decide that you want to be a manager at a similar but smaller company. So you leave and go fulfill that dream. Meanwhile back at your old company, your old manager is sucking wind. Those people that you interviewed and hired were perfect for how you ran things, but directly under your old manager, they appear inept. Your old manager is fired. Now would you want to go back to the old company when they came calling and offer you the manager position? You will have all the people that you interviewed, hired and trained. You are pretty much guaranteed to be successful. Or you could go to a brand new company and start all over again, where success is not guaranteed.
Now most sane people would go back to the old company. Offers familiar surroundings, familiar people, and stability.
See that is what I mean by common sense.
Auburn should hire Gus Malzahn, not Kirby Smart - SBNation.com
