Can't believe Mullen wouldn't leave Missy St. Is it possible the Gators didn't ask?

Very Zook-like hire if you ask me. Solid recruiter and assistant but not proven as a head man. Let's just hope he has a Zook-like tenure there.

How far down the list do you think he was? Behind Stoops, Mullens and Petrino?

Its been said that cowbell wasn't going to let money be the reason he left, and his family is really happy there.

Not sure how i feel about this hire. A little bit risky of the Gators. Muschamp has never been a head coach.

Also it's interesting because Muschamp recommended Dooley for the UT job. Can't wait to see how the UT-Florida rivalry changes from here.

This is great news for the Vols!!!

Muschamp has never been a head coach or knows wht it entails. He will screw up a lot of times and give the rest of the SEC East the opportunity to catch up and kick the Gators in the teeth.

Mullen would have paid Florida his first years salary to get the job. He was never offered the job, plain and simple.

I'm surprised this is the best they could do...UF is probably a top 3 job.

I wonder what will happen once Mack Brown decides to retire? I think thats Will's "dream job" right?
