will muschamp will be floridas next coach

It's a huge risk but it could pay off really well for the Gators.

I don't think there are many coaches that could do what Urban did there (or Spurrier for that matter).

It just depends how much time the Gators give him.

"I so totally agree with you. We (by we I mean us all knowing posters on gsmb)should put him on a very short leash. If Muschamp does not have the #1 recruiting class this Feb lets just fire him immediately. Nothing short of complete 100% success every time out is acceptable. I know Tex (what losers) were ready to give him the keys....but we are Florida! I know that every major coaching job in cfb that came open the last couple of years had him listed as a top candidate, but still. Short leash dammit!

I am so glad that we (infallible knowledgeable posters) ran off that bum Meyer! What a loser! He didn't fire his OC when we told him too. How dare he not obey our orders?! He only won the natty twice in 6 years....that means he absolutely blew it four times! Good riddance.

And Foley...you are so right. If this turns out to be another lousy hire like Meyer (only won natl title 33% of the time)...can him immediately. Didnt he miss on the all sports SEC championship once in the last 15 years or so..LLLLOSER!!! So not like us posters on gsmb

We have to hold these guys accountable. Read our posts dammit...follow our advice.....win a national title in every sport every year are we are going to freakin go nuts and then fire you!!!"

lol wow!

I just can't my panties in a wad over the UF hiring. CDD made good progress this year, but we've a ways to go to be consistently competitive in the SEC. So I think we need to maintain the focus on our program and CDD's plan and if UF implodes, then we're better off for it.

There's so much more that determines a winning program than the HC. Take USCjr for example. The ole ball coach was very successful at UF, but has been stuck in loosersville at USC until this season. And is that because he forgot how to coach between UF and USC? I kind of doubt that's the problem. Now that he's got skill in multiple positions, he's been able to generate success. UF will continue to draw top recruits. Unless CWM and his crew really screws it all up, I look for UF to continue to be a formidable opponent.

I believe the obvious favorite in the East now is USCjr for sure, and Ga and Fla still a close second, until we prove otherwise, we are still just a notch above Kentucky and Vandy

there were rumors he was going to raid the SEC for his staff, but if he takes these guys from Texas with him, its not exactly the makings of "splash" staff.

I think it is funny how some people think they are real smart by saying everyone wanted Mushy when it is not true. The ole Im not hypocritical high horse. I think some need to pull Florida down from the high horse.

Florida is a craphole. Always will be.
