Will Tennessee Make The NCAA's?

Yeah. It's hard for me to imagine they go worse than 3-3 but I will make no predictions because they've burned me a few times lol. They most likely squeak in there even if they go 3-3 & are decent in the NCAA tournament. Ideally they win all 3 of their games over the next 7 days and the teams ahead of them in the conference lose some games so they can move up because sitting 10th in the SEC isn't helping them either. Georgia, Mizzou, & LSU who are currently ahead of Tennessee should all lose tonight so Tennessee needs to win tonight to help themselves. What they cannot do is lose tonight because then they really will be in a pickle.

I agree with everything you said, Also to note Meme Jackson scored 27 points in Tennessee’s first matchup with Auburn. Since then has averaged 6.6 points in eight of Tennessee’s last 10 missed two with the sprained ankle. I think Holly rolled the dice with Meme and it backfired. Some will say that`s not true but the stats don`t lie.

That`s right and i will continue until her and Holly are gone and it will not be long do you agree.

Yes on both parts.
Meme is graduating this year and Holly will most likely not be the one that gives me a chance

Your Opinion on the NCAA tournament. A likely scenario for the lady vols is they go 2-3 the rest of the regular season and 1-1 in the SEC tournament. That would put them at 19-12. Would they likely get in with this record?

I feel like two losses will be death, as far as the NCAA tournament

I think they will, however, it is not a lock. Holly has to find a way to keep the team up in big games after the half. This is a sad time in women's basketball when one of the premier programs is on the bubble for the first team ever. With 6 D1 players, there is simply no excuse except ineffective leadership. Don't blame it all on the players, blame it where the buck stops, the head coach.

I support the girls BUT in an attempt to end the pain, suffering & misery, let's just NOT qualify for the NCAA and put more pressure on Fulmer to NOT extend Holly. Just let her announce her retirement and take a job at U.T. at some position.
No buy out but pay her the current contract but have her work at a different position.

Let us hire HW a fashion consultant. Last night was a little improvement however a golf shirt took away from the pink blazer. Does she not have another belt? She can afford to do better. I would like to see her at least dress the part of a head coach at a major university. Do I have any company in this project.

Strength of schedule will help the LVs. Losses to the #14, #19 and #23 RPI teams won't kill us, as long as the LVs avoid blowouts and finish strong after that. Steal a W in the next 3 games and our position is even better.

So are you saying minimum 4-1 next 5 games to get into the NCAA tourney? That would be a tall order.
We have recent history of letting the NCAA people down. They don't forget things. Our losses coupled with our recent tournament showings make us are true bubble team right now. That's why we must win it out to gain automatic entry into the NCAA. But we could win the SEC and still do it that way also. Both are tall orders

By the way I'm on a cell phone so forgive typing faux pas

I think they make it. Been playing better of late, but more than that, it seems like every game there's a different high scorer. To me that means there is a lot of talent spread on the team - a lot of talent able to score. I think we are getting better...

The Lady Vols have a hard row to hoe, the next three games, Missouri, Texas A&M and USC could easily be three straight losses. The only locks I see are Vandy and Mississippi. If the previous three are loses, they had better be close, however, if they lose to either of the last two or if they are difficult wins, I can't really say we deserve an NCAA bid. I still believe that we will need to win atleat two wins in the SEC tourney unless we can win a couple of upsets in the first three games, to get a bid. It is possible, however, Holly needs a very good game plan and I just do not believe that Holly is capable of such a thing.

There were 7 teams in last year’s tournament with 13 or more losses.

I won't stop believing in them, until they stop believing in themselves

We should all support the girls. I think there has been sufficient pain, suffering & misery that Holly is gone (caveat: IF a suitable replacement can be found) even if the team gets in and wins a game or two in the tourney.

I could care less if she wore a tutu and cowboy boots

17-8. 5-1 after the 6 game losing streak...6 games remaining. They can’t lose any more to get a decent seed in the SEC tourney. I think to get a spot they HAVE to win to get in. Or is their current record guaranteeing them a spot in the dance currently??? What would have to happen for them to miss out completely??

Rpi 43 Sos 34 were number 5 in the SEC rankings right now. We need to beat Vandy and Ole Miss and get another big win v A&M or SC would be great if we could win them all. 21 and 8 10 and 6 SEC.
