Will there be football in 2020?

Probably best for cardiologists not to make remarks about viruses.
Holy sh!t, did you read any of that before making this comment?

ASU scientific team finds new, unique mutation in coronavirus study

Oskoui made the comments reacting to a study conducted by Arizona researchers, which was published in the online version of the Journal of Virology.
Lead study author Dr. Efrem Lim, a virologist and an assistant professor at Arizona State University’s Biodesign Institute, and his team use a new technology to read through all 30,000 chemical letters of the SARS-CoV-2 genome, or genetic code, The New York Post reported, adding that the technology helps researchers determine how the virus is spreading and mutating over time.

Can you process anything you read? I said for giggles, meaning in theory but you are such a pompous a$$ you take everything literal. You and drumledick run around telling everyone if they leave their house they're going to die but I guess at least you arent saying or at least I havent seen you say they deserve to die or wish death upon them like drumledick does. You are seriously incapable of having a conversation with anyone who doesn't share the same opinion or hypothesis as you because you are so insecure that you have to be right no matter the cost.

Back to the ad hominem attacks; typical.

You let me know when you find anything that suggests your erroneous personal beliefs are representative of reality when it comes to the actual spread and transmissability of covid 19. I'll be more than happy to entertain your factual sources.

Why do you continue to use statistics that do not represent the issue being discussed? You keep pulling some info that is a miniscule area of what is being discussed and distorts the actual discussion. It has to be on purpose because you keep doing it.

No.

I was responding to a comment that suggested more people will die in a car than are likely to get infected by Coronavirus.

You do realize there are ZERO factual sources right now and that everything is theory, right? Even the 1000000000000 articles you post, they're all theory and not proven

In answer to your question at the beginning of your post, no I did not. When I saw a cardiologist was in water too deep for him to swim in, I read no further. Similarly, I did not read any further of this post than your first sentence.

Curious though...would you go to a Pediatrician if you thought you were have a heart attack?

Die vs. Infected. Two drastically different things. You purposely diluted the difference or just decided to take advantage of the language the poster utilized. Either way, it was intellectually dishonest.

The study was conducted by ASU, the research is right there for you to read. I feel fairly confident he's qualified to break it down

I did take advantage of the poster's poor selection of words...but they were words just the same and it was all I had to go on.

If you are going to try to argue the "everything is just a theory" angle, then you need to familiarize yourself with the definition of 'scientific theory' vs 'theory'. This is not a situation where the CDC and the NIH doctors are sitting around going "maybe it's this? Or no that didn't pan out, maybe it's that?" Actual scientific research is used to formulate the models being used, and actual data is being used to compute the current infection and mortality rates and future projections.

Your preponderance that all of the current data we have, is wrong, and that the infection numbers are far greater in the general population than is currently detected, has no basis in reality. So it's very hard to read your posts, with any sort of seriousness, since you seem hell-bent on asserting that your personal beliefs, have some sort of representation in the currently known information that has been collected on covid19 and are unable to cite any sources minus an article, that doesn't actually state what you believe it to.

Does anyone know Dr Mccullar’s VN screen name? As opinionated and closed minded as his statement appears he has to be part of this board.
To think that on May 5 he knows enough to state that there would be no fans in Neyland stadium this fall is so blatantly closed minded that President Boyd and Governor Lee need to ask for his summary and thank him for his service then dismiss him from the committee.
To be so closed minded that family members, staff, student via lottery or any other option can’t be part of the solution disqualified him as a “team” member

Why are you being obtuse? Is it because you have no argument so you rant about issues that have nothing to do with reality? 50,000 people just looking at their phones?

LOL

Original email, "50k of us will watch the game on our phones in protest" If you had read the original email for content rather than fodder for your incendiary rhetoric, then you might have understood the context of my follow-up.
The only real argument here is about being rationale and preserving freedoms.

Clearly, you and others believe "shutting down" the world over a risk that is quantified by a .0001% death rate among healthy folks under 60 is rationale. Some of us disagree strongly. Instead of hurling insults, explain your position in light of the many other diseases and activities in life that pose an equal or greater risk of death but for which you see no need to shut the world down.

Likewise, you and others believe "providing for the common welfare" gives government the right to suspend the "inalienable rights" granted by our creator and re-established in the founding of our country; based on same said risk. Others of us believe that is a gross usurpation of the authority granted by the founding documents. College football just happens to be one of the great litmus tests for this debate and one that is near and dear to my heart.

Those are the arguments and that is reality.
