Will Trump choose to not run in 2020

The assertion was made that Trump simply inherited his wealth. That's a false narrative as he began managing the family's real estate business when it was around maybe a couple percent of a billion and maneuvered those assets through the time of his father's death when the marginal federal rate was 55%. He's clearly grown the family empire into billions. It's laughable for posters to suggest that he's a failed business person stumbling from bankruptcy to bankruptcy,
Don't bother TGO, these morons don't have a clue about anything you're talking about. You're a very smart man and many here could do well by listening to your advice.

I do find @Thunder Good-Oil intelligent and I see where he's coming from but that doesnt mean that those who have a difference of opinion are morons.

I don't expect Trump or Biden to drop out of the race but what is the protocol if one of them does drop out? You can't re-do the primaries to award the delegates to someone else. Just curious.
Ask Bernie about the delegates changing. He knows a thing or 2 because he’s seen a thing or 2.

Simple question, will he decide to "declare victory" and not run in 2020?

Consider the possibility that he can't stand losing and just may "declare victory" and withdraw.

It's possible considering his personality.

Not his style. He's far more inclined to get beat and declare he was cheated, everything that happens to him is unfair - just ask him. Everyone says so, the like of which have never been seen before.

I agree. In fact, I think his business now is the best business to be in. No ownership, no risk, no management. Simply licensing your name and likeness is a really smart business model for someone who is a natural promoter. He grew the family real estate and successfully transitioned to an even better business, imo. His book, Art of the Deal, was the first "business success" book i read. This was back in high school.

I still don't think the family paid that much in taxes upon Fred's death. Doesn't detract from any accomplishment...so not sure why Volstrom got his panties twisted...just pointing out he probably didn't "lose" much in taxation.

Dang man. You serious???

Welp, when you get your fiber regulated and feel better, I look forward to interacting with you in the future.

Kisses.
I'm more comfortable when people's anger is directed at me........I'm slipping.

2020 is a strange year. There's only one poster (who comes around infrequently) I can do without. I guess VolStrom is upset 72 dipped. But that was 72's decision. I don't have the power to run anyone off. I thought everyone liked my sanctimony.

I guess this is why I dont hang in the PF too much - I derailed the thread with the BK court one-liner...
It's not you. It's just the tension in our country right now being reflected on board. You should stick around...no matter how wrong you are about things. After all, it's never stopped Luther.

How did you run '72 off? I've been trying for years.

I thought it was the Democrats saying Russia cheated them.

Sumbitch.....hard to keep up.

I didn't run him off. I specifically stated I have no power to run him off.

But the catalyst for his departure was he exchange being called a racist with using a veiled racist term. I expected more of him.

I did that often, since that was his modus operandi, and it never worked.

The stuff got deleted by a magicmod. Everyone gets testy from time to time. I didn't think it was worthy of exile.

I'm fairly fiscally conservative but left of center on social issues so I have a strong independent streak when voting.

Of course, in this thread that means both sides cant stand me....
